Business Universe RS

Business Universe RS is the solution for complex automation of bank created in SOA architecture using component approach.

The independent software products which are responsible for automation of specific sites of activity of bank act as the Business Universe RS components, integration is based based on the bus.

The weak coherence and independence of the Business Universe RS components allows to distribute diverse loading, and thanks to universality and business focus of integration interfaces it is possible to replace self-produced standard modules of the company with software products of other suppliers with the minimum costs.

testing of Business Universe RS for Oracle Engineered Systems Is complete

On February 20, 2015 R-Style Softlab announced completion of testing of Business Universe RS for Oracle Engineered Systems.

Based on the R-Style Softlab tests submitted data tables of stress testing of the complete solution Business Universe RS in structure:

• InterBank FrontOffice,
• RS-Bank V.6
• integration bus of Oracle Service Bus.

The research is conducted in Oracle Solution Centre laboratory (Scotland) on the equipment and the software of Oracle:

• Oracle Database,
• Oracle Exadata Database Machine,
• Oracle SuperCluster
• Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud.

The experiment showed high performance of Business Universe RS and the products which are its part during the work on Oracle Exadata, Oracle SuperCluster and Oracle Exalogic — the solutions providing such parameters as speed, scalability and reliability.

Testing confirmed: a design of 13 thousand credit requests / agreements per hour is capable to pass the complete solution, to close the last banking day of month in 1 hour 12 minutes and to sustain simultaneous operation of 11.5 thousand users at a system response less than 2 ^[1].

Stress testing was held for identification of limit indicators of opportunities of the software products guaranteeing their work in the largest banks. Three types of tests are carried out, in each of which data came with the considerable stock exceeding volumes of the largest Russian bank.

• Integration test on peak load of all complex (the credit pipeline) within mass consumer crediting.

The test purpose - determination of the maximum quantity of credit requests and the loan agreements opened according to them which a system for a certain period could process at observance of standards for response time. Participated the front office InterBank FrontOffice system providing input and routing of requests, and a credit back office from the structure of RS-Bank V.6 where agreements, accounts and so forth formed. Interaction was performed by means of an integration bus of Oracle Service Bus. The expected indicator in 5 thousand requests/agreements per hour is exceeded twice: result more than 13 thousand credit requests / agreements per hour.

• Test for a closing time of banking day (end of month) RS-Bank V.6 system.

Processing of 10 million open loan agreements in RS-Loans subsystem from the structure of RS-Bank V.6 is carried out. The procedure included all automatic operations executed by bank for the end of month:

• charge and repayment of percent,
• carrying out on delay,
• reservation,
• reorganization of portfolios,
• closing of a part of agreements, etc.

It was expected that time for closing of banking day should not exceed 4 hours. The indicator of the most successful test was 1 hour 12 minutes.

• The multi-user InterBank FrontOffice test for the maximum number of at the same time working users.

The test intended for determination of the greatest number of the user sessions which is supported by a system at restriction for the average time of a response. The received result — 11.5 thousand simultaneous sessions at a response of 1.8 pages.
