Content

ONDOC is a medical IT service, integrates doctors, clinics and patients. Solves a problem of access to medical data using integration with information systems of clinics. Represents the telemedicine module for communication of the doctor and the patient. Service helps users to have a uniform personal account with the electronic medical record, telemedicine, online making an appointment and monitoring of indicators of health. Service is officially started in February, 2015.

2021: Approval of OnDoc service for connection to Uniform State Health Information System

The ONDOC service officially received the status of "Other Information System" (OIS) and now will be connected to the Single State Information System of Health Care (SSISHC). On February 5, 2021 reported about it in OnDoc company ("Medical card"). This status creates additional conveniences when receiving medical services.

Connection of ONDOC to Uniform State Health Information System will allow patients and clinics to have access to a system through through Gosuslugi service. The medical institutions connected to ONDOC will be able to send data to the Single system and to configure interchange by information.

2020: Start of service of medical polls of patients

On March 31, 2020 the OnDoc company (Medical card) announced start of service — medical polls of patients. Using it doctors of clinics will be able to control far off health of patients, process of their treatment and to trace statistics on symptoms, recovery, reactions, etc.

Medical polls in ONDOC can be planned in advance, having created templates for frequent cases (for example, poll in a month after the beginning of three-months chemotherapy).

It is possible to create polls on any specialization or a disease, to use multiple selection, scales, the text for answers, to configure scenarios and to set sending intervals. The patient answers questions, and in a personal account the overview of answers in a graphic type is displayed; it is also possible to look at answers of the specific patient.

2019

Start of functionality "Program of privileges"

On November 12, 2019 it became known that on the ONDOC platform the functionality "The program of privileges" was started. It is the multilevel loyalty program: in it there are several modules which can be used in different combinations. Modules are configured by clinics and work both with the medical information system (MIS), and without it.

ONDOC

The clinic can start to the patient the virtual discount card, assign it number, the discount size, to define rules by which this discount will change. Upon each purchase of service from a personal account to the patient the discount will be allowed. Also clinics can create personal offers for clients.

Patients can accumulate bonus points for payment of services from a personal account. The clinic can expose a condition in settings of the program that for each spent ruble the patient gets one point and to enter additional encouragement for target actions — for example, a subscription to group of clinic or the story about it on social network. Also clinics can start the referral program — for example when the patient shares a promo code with relatives or friends, and to all participants points and discounts for certain actions are charged.

All clinics different. Each organization has a different approach to work with patients, business models and methods of the organization. Moreover, clinics use also different medical information systems, many of which have the vision of how privileges should look and work. We studied a huge number of programs of loyalty which are on medical and other markets and tried to collect the best and to consider those medical cases, those tasks which arise during the work of clinic,


The loyalty program is connected with cards of Wallet for iOS and for Android. It means that the patient always sees the discount card and relevant score in a purse on the smartphone — the section where bank cards for fast payment using the Apple Pay or Google Pay are stored.

Start of functionality Finance

In June, 2019 on the ONDOC platform the functionality Finance was started. It allows to simplify process of interactions and settlement between clinics and patients by clinics if they do not treat process of rendering medical service, reported in OnDoc company on June 20, 2019.

In ONDOC service there is an online payment function. Most often it is used for prepayment of online consultations, or an internal visit and also for share purchase, or programs of attachment. But, besides, between clinic and patients there are other tasks of settlement. Therefore we decided to create the full section on work with finance — Alexander Konstantinov, the founder of ONDOC told.

Information from clinics on a remaining balance on a deposit, debt and the amount of means which are already frozen for payment of services will be transferred to Finance. The user can pass to the list of invoices, select one, or a little and to make payment using the Apple Pay, Google Pay or the linked card.

To the patient it will be always available the history of payments and the list of transactions which he made from a personal account is available. The clinic can unload to the patient the list of acts of the rendered services and also attach to them documents.

Also in the section Finance is the subsection "Documents". In it the patient will see documents which are connected with the services rendered to him. For example, it is the agreement with clinic, consent to medical intervention or personal data processing.

Integration with MIS "MeDialog"

On March 29, 2019 the company OnDoc announced start of a personal account for patients of clinic "Medroskontrakt". It is white label*-solution from ONDOC: mobile applications on iOS, Android and the web version. At project development it was carried out integration ONDOC service with medical an information system (MIES) "MeDialog". In more detail here.

Start of functionality "Opinion of the doctor"

On February 26, 2019 "The opinion of the doctor" who allows specialists to carry out the postponed online consultations from the clinics connected to service became known of start on the ONDOC platform of functionality. It is a format of telemedicine consultations at which the doctor answers the patient in the set period.

Clinics can use "Opinion of the doctor" to render services in the second opinion, maintenance or navigation in the directions of clinic. Patients can ask a question to the specialist in specific timepoint or purchase service "for later" and use it later.

"The opinion of the doctor" allows to work with medical documents and an electronic medical card in ONDOC service. For example, for obtaining the second opinion the patient can send results of diagnostics and ask additional consultation, at remote maintenance — to send results of control analyses after earlier completed treatment, for patient navigation — to define whether can accept in clinic on this or that problem and what doctor is engaged in it.

2018

Integration with Selenda

On December 20, 2018 it became known that the uniform personal account of the patient of ONDOC is integrated with the medical information system Selenda. It will allow clinics which work in a system, to increase service quality of patients.

All functionality of ONDOC which requires integration with a system in clinic will be available to clinics with Selenda — for example, online making an appointment or transfer of a digital medical card. Online record thanks to integration takes second — the patient can register in acceptance in one click. Data transmission too completely automatic — it is not necessary to take papers from an office of the doctor: data on acceptance and results of inspections are transferred to patients to ONDOC after visit of clinic.

Integration from each MIS — a big event: the number of clinics which can use a uniform personal account of the patient extends. If the patient has a quick access to online record, the schedule of the doctor and data on the health, customer service of clinic becomes more modern, and treatment process more quickly. We develop special approach, since integration with MIS in clinics that gives the chance to patients to receive high quality of service and to return to acceptance.

Thanks to integration with ONDOC of clinic can receive a full-fledged personal account for patients. It can use through web or using the application in the mobile phone. It means that access to medical information at the patient always near at hand. Inclusion in the List of the innovation, hi-tech products

The Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship and the Agency of innovations of Moscow included a medical IT service of ONDOC in the list of the innovation, hi-tech products and technologies. This TAdviser was announced on September 5, 2018 by representatives of Medkarta company.

On August 23, 2018 the product of the company was recognized to the corresponding criteria approved in annex 3 to the order of the Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship on formation of the list stated above. ONDOC was included in its structure as "An information technology platform for communication of clinic, doctors and patients".

According to the government decree of Moscow, the city authorities should buy not less than 5% of the innovation products (goods, works, services) from the total amount of purchases.

2017

Service comes out in offline

On December 11, 2017 the medical service ONDOC announced an exit in offline - the company started in sale packets of telemedicine service "Doctors online". Partners of the program — network of AVS-meditsina clinics and the visa centers "Evrotur".

The Doctors Online programs offer remote consultations of the therapist 24/7 (bezlimitno for all packets) and narrow specialists (one or three consultations in a packet). Online consultation can be replaced with internal acceptance at the profile doctor. 10% a discount for internal acceptance in clinic and consultation of narrow specializations out of a packet are in addition provided. There are 2 rates — for a month and for a year.

The duty therapist is available 24/7, narrow all medical specializations specialists who are in clinic (17 directions) also are available to consultations. In working hours of clinic all doctors of "AVS-medicine" will advise. Remote consultation can be held in a format of a chat, video, phone call.

Even if the patient has no Internet access, the doctor is available by phone. After internal acceptance or telemedicine consultation information on results of acceptance comes to a user profile of ONDOC. The user can open for the advising doctor an information access from its electronic medical card of ONDOC.

Integration with Medofis

On October 12, 2017 the Medkarta company announced integration of a medical IT service of OnDoc with the medical information system "Medofis". It will allow clinics which work with this MIS, to connect additional services for patients through OnDoc.

In particular, that functionality of OnDoc which requires integration with a system in clinic — for example, online making an appointment became available to clinics with MIS "Medofis". Information transfer from a medical information system in OnDoc automatic — data on the schedule are transferred to the patient to free mobile application or a personal account on the website OnDoc. Online record thanks to integration takes second — the patient can register in acceptance in one click and without confirmation by phone call.

Integration with TrustMed

On August 2, 2017 the Medkarta company announced integration of ONDOC service with the medical information system (MIS) TrustMed.

Clinics the using MIS TrustMed got access to functionality of ONDOC: online making an appointment or transfer of a digital medical card. The patient can register in acceptance in one click and without confirmation by phone call. Data transmission automatic — papers from the doctor are not required: data on acceptance and results of inspections are transferred to patients to ONDOC after visit of clinic.

ONDOC is integrated with MIS "Element"

On July 19, 2017 the OnDoc company announced integration with the medical information system "Element".

According to the statement of partners, it will allow the clinics working with this MIS to connect additional services for patients through ONDOC:

  • transfer the directions to inspections, diagnostics, hospitalization to a personal account of the patient;
  • use full online record — in one click and without confirmation by phone call;
  • transfer accounts for services which can be paid online;
  • transfer data on appointment to a personal digital medical card of the patient.

Information transfer from a medical information system in ONDOC automatic, data from the electronic out-patient card (EMR) in clinic and information on the schedule are transferred to the patient to free mobile application or a personal account on the website ONDOC.

One of the principles of work of MIS "Element" - — ability to integrate with all modern services and medical devices therefore the problem of integration with such convenient for the patient and the medical center the tool as ONDOC, was among priority. As a result of clinic, using Element, can instantly and without additional expenses to connect ONDOC — and for quick access to the patients without advertizing investments, and for already become the integral attribute for modern users of smartphones a possibility of obtaining medical documents at the moment of their readiness.

In the next 10-15 years care of health and quality of life will become this trend, and the software for the medical centers will become complicated: by 2020 also the remote "stations of health" transferring to clinic data on pressure, temperature, work of heart, laboratory blood tests and urine will become routine; and instant consultations with doctors worldwide, and organizations of interstate consultations. Integration with MIS "Infoklinika"

On June 15, 2017 developers of a free electronic medical card ONDOC announced partnership with the medical information system (MIS) "Infoklinika". It will allow clinics which work with this MIS, to connect additional services for patients through ONDOC.

Integration of ONDOC with information systems allows clinics to connect:

  • full online record — in one click and without confirmation by phone call;
  • data transmission about appointment in a personal digital medical card of the patient.

The patient can not take away any papers from an office — all information on treatment comes to its ONDOC profile, and the reminder on making an appointment will come on SMS, email or push. Information transfer from MIS in ONDOC automatic, data from the electronic out-patient card (EMR) in clinic and information on the schedule are transferred to the patient to free mobile application or a personal account on the website ONDOC.

2016

Video chat for communication with the doctor

On October 25, 2016 the service for control of health of Ondoc announced start of a video chat with the practicing doctors on all platforms — the website Ondoc.me, applications on iOS and Android.

By October 25 43 doctors were trained on work with the platform and are already ready to advise the patients far off. These are therapists, pediatricians, psychotherapists, somnologists, stomatologists, hematologists, cardiologists, urologists, obstetricians-gynecologists, rheumatologists and vertebrolog.

Video chat in Ondoc — a special tool which replaces social networks or messengers, unsuitable for communication of the doctor and the patient. It conforms to standards of the law on the reporting and safety of health insurance (HIPAA). For this Ondoc uses the OpenTok platform which facilitates safe interaction between patients, doctors and service, told in the company. At video consultation the doctor can not only communicate with the patient, but also browse his digital medical card, analysis results or to write on acceptance. So to see information on the patient and the patient at the same time.

In a video chat the doctor can legally be engaged in a remote support and maintenance. Users automatically receive in Ondoc results after acceptances from partner clinics and enter information in service manually; conduct monitoring of indicators, for example, of pressure or temperatures; note when took medicine and whether there were side effects. With the permission of the patient the doctor will be able not only to browse these data, but also to make new records. After the user is inspected at other specialist, from an electronic medical card it is possible to learn about manipulations and the appointed treatment quickly. So the doctor can conduct the patient even if he goes to other clinics or to other doctor, noted in Ondoc.

Remote access to such information helps to observe the patient's status, to study the anamnesis before consultation, to remotely adjust treatment. It is important for the people with chronic diseases and also needing regular visits of the doctor (for example, at pregnancy or passing of long-term treatment), consider in the company. Users of Ondoc using a video chat can receive maintenance services — for example, to contact the physiotherapist after an UHF, to tell about reaction to the registered medicine to the dermatologist or to provide to the cardiologist data access from the fitness tracker.

On October 13, 2016 OnDoc started a personal account in which each doctor will be able to use free of charge technologies for remote communication with patients. The personal account allows clinics and doctors to gain an additional income for maintenance and remote consultations.

Possibilities of a personal account include: access to the anamnesis, biomarkers and course of treatment; a chat with patients; video consultations; personal online schedule.

So, patients automatically obtain data from different clinics in Ondoc or enter results of acceptances and manual analyses. They conduct monitoring of the main biomarkers, such as temperature, pressure or sugar in blood. Patients also enter a course of drug treatment to Ondoc, note when and what medicine was taken whether there were side effects. Remote access of the doctor to such information helps to observe the patient's status, to study the clinical record before consultation, to remotely adjust already appointed therapy.

Text online consultations help to give support to patients in the message format, convenient for them. Communication in a chat does not require immediate response therefore it is possible to take a break, to browse the clinical record, to check the schedule and to answer when it is convenient.

In turn, in a video chat it is convenient to accompany patients with chronic diseases or needing frequentation of the doctor (for example, pregnant women or physically disabled people). It is possible to adjust already appointed treatment or to give the second opinion on analyses and therapy.

In Ondoc it is possible to manage the schedule even if the doctor works in several clinics and advises far off. To invite to internal acceptance or to remote consultation, it is enough to send the invitation to the patient to one click, and to the user the notification on it will instantly come.

OnDoc started online payments in service

On September 28 the medical ONDOC IT project started possibilities of payment of services online. In the free application and on the website users can make advance payment for medical services, buy the check-up programs and subscriptions.

Service implemented safe non-cash payment at which payment for several seconds comes to clinic. The bank card can be linked to the account OnDoc. Enciphering on transport (SSL/TLS) and at the applied (RSA) level with key length of 2048 bits is applied to data protection. Systems an antifraud and 3D Secure выявляют signs of suspicious transactions and block unauthorized payments.

The history of purchases is provided in OnDoc. It allows the user to browse all history of the payments, and to each clinic — to trace in a personal account information on transactions from ONDOC.

OnDoc began work on Android

In ONDOC on Android there is a base of doctors, clinics, a chat with clinics and doctors, the order of a call back to clinic, search of the nearest clinics and doctors on geolocations, notifications about actions.

OnDoc starts collecting of reports on courses of drug intake and to side effects

Since August 25, 2016 the service for control of health of OnDoc collects results about administration of drugs and creates automatic reports on them. The updated section of Medicine in OnDoc helps to control the course of treatment and provides the pharmacological companies with the digital-platform for performing clinical trials.

Users in free service Ondocmogut to create courses of acceptance with any intervals (for example, 3 days in 8 days) or cycles that is convenient, for example, for hormonal medicines or seasonal prevention. Reminders on acceptance come by email, push or SMS. Users note when they took medicine to do not miss acceptances and to make the rate more effective. They can transfer a reminder, without coming into the application — directly in the push-message to click 'Remind later'. It helps not to forget about the missed acceptance and to observe a full course of treatment.

In Ondocmozhno to fix side effects and to leave comments on acceptance — for example that it was turned it is ready or felt sick. In service reports on administration of drugs with all statistics, violations of courses of acceptance or admissions automatically form. It allows to use ONDOC as the IT platform for collecting of statistics.

OnDoc began to work on the Shareware model

On July 19, 2016 the Russian service for control of health of ONDOC started the new scheme of work with medical institutions. Now all clinics, it is not dependent on informatization level, can try free of charge 80% of opportunities of service — all functionality which, who does not demand integration with a medical information system. It:

  • Placement in base of doctors and clinics. Information is available to all users of service, them more than 80,000. In a month users look for doctors for record from 5 to 10 thousand times.
  • Requests in Call Back to Me clinic. To make an appointment with the doctor, it is not obligatory for users to call. It is possible to send the request to one click, the administrator will receive a request in SMS and will confirm record. The number of requests from service is not limited.
  • The notification about stocks of clinic. Patients who visited clinic saved it in favorites, communicated with it in a chat or created inspection in an electronic medical card with mentioning of the doctor from clinic, will receive notifications on special offers through ONDOC.
  • Communication with patients in a chat. In a chat the patient can learn the cost of services, details about treatment and doctors or to specify write time. He does not demand immediate reaction as phone call therefore it is possible to take a break or to specify the answer and to resume correspondence at any time.
  • Personal statistics. All clinics which work with service get access to personal account of the partner. In it it is possible to see responses, estimates, the number of loyal clients, statistics on the number of viewings profiles of clinic and doctors.

Administrators and heads of clinic during 15-day a trial period receive letters which help to understand all available functions and to begin to use them.

OnDoc increased number of partner clinics twice

In June the number of clinics which were connected to service for control of health of ONDOC exceeded 450. It is three times more, than in February, 2016 and in six, than in December, 2015.


Now both the large medical centers, and small clinics from different regions of Russia — from Northwest to Far East work with ONDOC. They use different opportunities of service.

Some transfer information on treatment to the patient's profile (the medical card of the user of ONDOC is in that case filled 'itself') and automatically remind of the forthcoming acceptance through ONDOC. These opportunities are available at integration of ONDOC with the medical information system (MIS) set in clinic.

If integration with MIS is impossible, then clinics use other opportunities of service — working at a starting rate. They automate process of rendering medical services using such instruments of service as a chat, publications of stocks of clinic and the notification on them, making an appointment in one clinics, a personal account of clinic in ONDOC with personal statistics.

By February, 2016 developers of the Russian service of m-Health ONDOC increased number of partners. Now their quantity is more than 150 clinics of different regions of the country: from Karelia to the Far East. The large medical centers, such as Medsi, SMT, INTAN, Medcentrservice and Best of Clinics work with ONDOC.

50 clinics joined ONDOC on free conditions since December, 2015, after announcement of new opportunities of service. To all clinics which were connected to the free ONDOC rate it is available:

  • Placement of information on clinic and its doctors in ONDOC. To a profile of clinic all users of service have access. They select the doctor and register to him in acceptance through the simplified online record form. Users one click send the request for acceptance to the Call Back to Me button, the administrator calls back and makes out record to the doctor. In order that it is not necessary to make an appointment with the doctor to call independently or to fill registration forms.
  • Free requests for appointment. Usually clinics pay for each patient who came via the online record websites: from 600 to 1500 rubles. ONDOC abolished this scheme that the medical centers received new clients, without raising service prices. The order of a call back to ONDOC does such requests free and does not limit their quantity.
  • Personal account of the partner of ONDOC. All clinics which work with the project see statistics on the number of viewings a profile of organization and its doctors in a personal account. Users of service estimate politeness of personnel, waiting time of acceptance, and answer whether they are ready to return to clinic once again. All this is displayed in the form of aggregated data. Work with a personal account can become the first step for measurement of efficiency of work with clients.

Some functions will remain paid — the clinics interested in mobility of patients and quality improvement of service connect them in addition. It is access to text responses of patients, informing patients on actions and special offers, reminders on the forthcoming visit to clinic by email, push or the SMS.

At inspection in the clinics which connected the Expert rate, users of service receive results of visit of doctors in the profile right after acceptance. They always near at hand have important data: data on the undergone inspections, allergic reactions and diagnoses.

In such clinics the patient does not take away any papers from an office – all information on treatment appears on the screen of its mobile phone and in a profile on the website.

OnDoc will start a chat for communication with the attending physician

In March, 2016 the service of m-Health OnDoc started new service — a chat using which it is possible to communicate with the administrator and to stay in touch with the attending physician.

The chat with clinic will help to find information on services at any time, to exchange files, to register in acceptance or to specify receptive period. From the account of clinic the administrator usually answers.

Using a chat it is possible to stay in touch with the specialist. The doctor will not make the diagnosis or to appoint treatment. For example, it can write to specify a dosage of medicine or to tell about health after implantation of teeth.

Communication in a chat there can begin only a user. Notifications about new messages come to clinic by e-mail or the SMS. The user, in turn, will receive push-notifications, the Sms or e-mail.

2015

Service progresses

On September 23, 2015 the OnDoc company announced implementation of OnDoc service to the sphere of private health care of Russia and promotion of mHealth technologies (mobile health).

As a part of service products work:

  • OnDoc is free web service and mobile application for storage of medical data.
  • OnDoc Dent is the software product for work with dental medical information.

Free functionality for clinics

On December 1, 2015 the OnDoc company announced representation by ONDOC service of free opportunities for clinics.

According to the statement of the company, any medical institution can take part in the project. Clinics can place information on themselves in ONDOC and use wide feature set. To all clinics which work with ONDOC even on a free basis, will become available:

  • an opportunity to place information on clinic and several doctors. This information will be available to all users of service.

OnDoc is free web service and mobile application for storage of medical data.

On February 24, 2015 the Medkarta company announced start of service of storage of medical data OnDoc[1].

For simplification of a problem of collecting and data storage of users service, being integrated with any medical information system installed in clinic transfers data from an office of the doctor to a personal account of the patient in ONDOC. If the clinic does not work with service, users can enter data in ONDOC manually independently or send photos of inspections for their digitization. All information is stored in encrypted form according to 152 Federal Laws "About Personal Data". Data can be available from any device — they can share with the doctor, having provided it access and also to independently find in the electronic medical card ONDOC information on the postponed diseases, inoculations, allergic diseases.

Functionality

The user profile becomes an electronic medical card with enhanced capabilities.

  • Medical record is stored in the section all information on results of visit of the doctor and the conducted examinations. It is possible to register in acceptance in any of base of clinics, sorting them by metro stations and doctors — by length of service and specializations.
  • Results from partner clinics are loaded into the medical record automatically. If the clinic is not connected to OnDoc yet, it is possible to add any data to the medical record manually and to attach the original of the medical document.
  • After acceptance in partner clinics information on inspection, the diagnosis and treatment appear in a profile automatically. Paper with appointments of the doctor is not required - everything will be in the application and the web version. Developers claim that users can return to results of inspections, share them with other doctor, without leaving the house.
  • Reminders on drug intake and dosage. In process of filling of data in a profile on features of health and habits, the user will receive personal recommendations about reduction of risk of possible diseases.

Mobile application is available to devices on the IOS platform. The release of the version for Android is planned.

  • Chat. With its help patients communicate with the administrator and the attending physician in a usual format: correspond also as in WhatsApp or the SMS. A chat 41 clinics from Moscow use, Korolyov, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Samara, Nizhnekamsk, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Khabarovsk and other cities. All clinics which work with service get access to personal statistics on the number of loyal clients, viewings profiles of clinic and doctors, the user personel assessments, waiting time of acceptance and readiness of patients to return. These indicators help to improve work of clinic and to automate process of rendering medical services even if in clinic there is no CRM or MIS.
