Pacific National University was connected to FIS USE

On March 17, 2015 it became known of project completion on connection of Pacific National University to a federal information system of ensuring holding the unified state examination and reception of citizens in educational institutions. Project and implementation works were performed by Softline company.

Project Tasks

According to requirements of the legislation and decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation educational institutions of the higher and secondary professional education are obliged to enter to FIS USE and reception of citizens of data on the organization, the course and results of acceptance. This information system works in federal scale and is intended for process automation of acceptance in educational institutions.

"Deployment at the university of the protected automated system, its certification for security requirements of personal data and the organization of network interconnection with the protected corporate data network of Federal State Budgetary Institution FTsT on the provided specifications was a main objective of the project", - Alexander Karplyuk, the head of department of informatization of Pacific National University told.

For project implementation the customer announced competition in which victory was won by Softline.

Project Progress

Specialists of the company suggested to create an automated system on the platform of a local computer network and to protect it using solutions Infotecs, Code of Security, Kaspersky Labs and "Positive Technologies". During the project for the organization of network interconnection using domestic encryption algorithms engineers of Softline implemented the solution ViPNet CUSTOM as a part of which the hardware and software system ViPNet Coordinator and client components of ViPNet Client.

To prevent unauthorized access to the computer using which interaction with FIS USE is performed Secret Net means of protecting are set. For ensuring antivirus protection the certified anti-virus solution of Kaspersky Lab, and for the analysis of security of an automated system - the certified product XSpider is used.

Analysts and engineers of Softline developed model of security risks of information, operational and certification documentation.

Project Results

The protected subnet is created, network interconnection and secure channel of communication with Federal State Budgetary Institution FTsT is provided.

Pavel Semchenko, the senior sales manager of solutions of Softline company, told: "We quickly and qualitatively organized access of the university to FIS USE. One of the largest and leading universities of the Far East received the automated system significantly simplifying processes of the reporting in FIS USE with accomplishment of all requirements of the legislation and the Government of the Russian Federation".
