Yandex.OFD and Modulbank started the program of fast crediting for small and medium business

The traditional procedure of issuance of credit to business assumes departure of the bank representative for verification of finance documents and also providing pledge or the guarantee. A design of the credit according to the joint program does not require collecting of documents and the appeal to office of bank – the request for the credit it is possible to leave directly in the interface Yandex.OFD. The fiscal data of the company collected Yandex.OFD are sufficient information for decision-making by bank. It analyzes data on cash transactions of the entrepreneur and on their basis makes offer on the credit.

Fiscal data have high potential for creation of different products which will help entrepreneurs with business. "Yandex.OFD is initially focused not just on collecting and transfer of fiscal data, and on creation of additional services for entrepreneurs. Technologies of the analysis of Big Data allow us to create the different products facilitating business. The credit program, the first in the market, on the basis of fiscal data will become one of them", - Shnyr Leonid, the Director commented on Yandex.OFD.

"Usually banks consider financing of small and medium business - high risk investment as to estimate its potential extremely difficult. Data analysis of OFD allows to estimate quicker and more objectively a business condition. It considerably will simplify the procedure of receiving funds for development for entrepreneurs", - the founder of Modulbank, Laguta Oleg comments.

The basic offer of bank – 90 thousand rubles. The maximum amount can make up to 50% of a monthly turnover of cash desk. The limit specified in the offer can change in process of changes of indicators of business. Yandex.OFD is going to develop further this direction, connecting other banks to the program.

FAS permitted "Yandex" to earn from data from online cash desks

"Yandex" got permission of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) to processing of fiscal data of the cash registers (CR), Interfax with reference to representatives of the company reported. FTS also confirmed issue of permission.^[1]

The technologies of "Yandex" connected with data analysis, machine learning and other directions give us the chance to create new hi-tech products for business based on the obtained and generalized data. These analytical tools will help the companies and business owners to draw conclusions about business performance, to make better management decisions and to optimize activity, - reported in the press service of "Yandex".

Added to the companies that from potential clients "there is an interest", however details about arrangements are not disclosed yet.

FAS permitted "Yandex" to earn from data from online cash desks

That "Yandex" is going to leave in a new segment of business, it was reported in July of last year. According to Interfax, at that time "Yandex" already held a number of meetings with representatives of tax authorities.^[2]

At the end of May the subsidiary company Yandeks.Ofd LLC was founded (primary activity - data processing). According to data of SPARK-Interfax base, the share of "Yandex" in authorized capital of the new company made 99.9%.

In "Yandex" confirmed to Interfax that the organization was really created under a new segment of business.  The company told that it will develop the analytical and  other services helping to do business  to small and medium entrepreneurs. ^[3]

"Yandex" not the only company which wants to earn from data analysis of the cash register equipment. It is interesting to operators of processing of fiscal data too. For example, in OFD Platform in February, 2017 announced plans of start of new service on the basis of Big Data (Big Data). It will collect data on purchases which pass through the cash registers, to analyze them and to sell to clients the aggregated analytics in different cuts. Consumers of these data in the company see owners of shops – and that whose cash desks are serviced at OFD Platform, and third-party.

According to Alexey Barov, the CEO of OFD Platform company, appearance of the new player once again confirms the serious potential of all market of OFD and online data transmission from cash desks. Nevertheless, ensuring simple, apparently, service in collecting, storage, processing and transfer of fiscal data requires very high level of competences, examination and readiness of infrastructure for different requests of clients. Only the client, the entrepreneur, eventually will solve with which of operators to him to work what services will be demanded. Healthy competition always on advantage to the market, he considers.

In June of last year the State Duma adopted the law on phased transition of sales points on the cash registers (CR) transferring information on calculations to tax authorities in electronic form. According to the law, transfer of data in tax authorities will be performed in real time through the fiscal data operator (FDO). The organization created in the territory of the Russian Federation and which got permission to processing of fiscal data will be considered as such operator.

It is supposed that at calculation implementation the user is obliged to issue the check or the form of the strict accounting to the client on paper carrier either on directory number or by e-mail. At the same time the checks received by e-mail and printed will be equated to the checks printed by the cash registers. Upon purchases on the Internet using electronic payment instruments the seller is also obliged to send to the client by e-mail the cash voucher. At the same time the check on paper carrier should not be issued.

Transition on new should be performed by the cash register equipment within three years.

2016: "Yandex" interferes in control and cash business

"Yandex" is going to leave in a new segment of business, having been engaged in processing of fiscal data of the cash registers (CR). According to Interfax, the company already held a number of meetings with representatives of tax authorities.

According to the USRLE, founded the new corresponding legal person of "Yandex" in May, 2016, having called its "Yandex.OFD" (primary activity — data processing).

In "Yandex" told the edition that the new company will develop the analytical and other services helping to do business to small and medium entrepreneurs. "Projects of the new company will work at fundamentals of technologies of "Yandex" in the field of processing of Big Data. In addition to small businesses, to clients of the company large networks and producers can be potential" — reported Interfax in the press service of the company, having refused to comment on parts^[4].
