Academy of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation

The Academy FSO Russia is a federal state-owned military educational institution of higher education.

Tasks and main areas of activity of the Academy (data for August 2018):

• training of personnel for state security bodies, other federal executive bodies, in which the legislation of the Russian Federation provides for military service, other organizations, as well as in the prescribed manner on a reimbursable or gratuitous basis for foreign countries;
• meeting the needs of students in intellectual, cultural, moral and physical development through the provision of higher education, secondary vocational education, additional vocational education;
• organization and conduct of fundamental and applied scientific research on topical problems of strengthening the country's defense capability and security and improving vocational education;
• comprehensive and harmonious development of the personality of students, the formation of high professional, moral, psychological, spiritual and moral qualities, the education of patriotism, devotion to the Russian Federation and loyalty to military duty.
