2019: The agreement on connection to the Internet of 1514 socially important objects in Kursk region

On August 29, 2019 the TransTeleCom company reported that together with Administration of Kursk region will give each other active and full support for the fastest and effective project implementation on connection of socially important organizations of the region to the Internet. The parties agreed about it at a meeting of the deputy governor of Kursk region M.M. Beskhmelnitsyn with the CEO of JSC Transtelecom Company R.V. Kravtsov on August 29 in Kursk during which the agreement on cooperation was signed.

Connections of socially important objects will be carried out within the federal draft "Information Infrastructure" of the Digital Economy of Russia national program. The Transtelecom company, one of chief operators of communication in Russia, won a victory in an auction which was held by the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation, and will provide with service of Internet access of 1514 objects in Kursk region for the total amount more than 1.2 billion rubles.

At last meeting of the party signed the agreement on cooperation, aimed at the development of telecommunication infrastructure of the region and also discussed a package of measures for the organization of works within the federal project "Information Infrastructure", worked strategy and key aspects of interaction, agreed on issues of use of the communication created within the project of connection of socially important infrastructure facilities for the solution of perspective infocommunication problems of the region.

In three years we are going to connect to the high-speed Internet practically all social objects of Kursk region. It and FAPY, village councils, fire brigades. Educational institutions in rural areas will use the Internet at a speed of 50 m/, and city – 100 m / B. We start implementation of the first stage of the agreement in 2019, until the end of the year 394 socially important organizations will be connected to network, told the deputy governor of Kursk region Maxim Beskhmelnitsyn

Achievement of goals, delivered within this project, will create steady and large-scale infrastructure which will become the platform for rendering information and telecommunication services to the population of all Kursk region,
