In the position of director for industry areas, Pavel is responsible for the development of industries through the introduction of digital solutions, including platform ones.

At the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Pavel Khristenko was engaged in the development of high-tech industries, coordinating the activities of development institutions in the field of innovation, coordinating the activities of Rospatent, and developing state policy and legal regulation in the development of the non-profit sector of the economy (SONKO).

The actual tasks of Pavel Khristenko are to find key points of growth of the Russian economy when introducing platform solutions and the possibility of scaling these solutions to achieve a synergistic effect when combining them with state systems. Platform solutions and their impact on the growth of labor productivity will be assessed by the professional community at the site of the Digital Economy organization.

As of August 2020, Pavel is also an active member of the expert council under the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the head of the delegation of the Russian Federation of the Committee on Artificial Intelligence of the Council of Europe (CAHAI Council of Europe), a member of the delegation of the Council of the World Economic Forum on the global agenda of the future in the Russian Federation.
