Delivery plan of microphones "Octava" MKE-215-2 for additional equipment of cryptobiocabins

Using microphones manufactured by Octava (part of Rostec State Corporation), they will record user data in multifunctional centers. Cryptobiocabins with a microphone of the MKE-215-2 series will appear in the MFC by the second quarter of 2022. This was reported by Octava on August 26, 2021.

As part of the project, the manufacturer of electroacoustics will supply the Automatics concern with Octava MKE-215-2 microphones for retrofitting cryptobiocabins. Cryptobiocabina (KBK) is a Russian software and technical complex mass-produced by the Automatics concern. In addition to the microphone for recording samples of voice data, the complexes are already equipped with a system of digital cameras, trenchless lighting, fingerprint and document scanners, a barcode reader, a device combining a computer-readable passport area scanner (MRZ-lines) and a reader of latest-generation passport chips. As of August 2021, Rostelecom PJSC, in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, has already delivered more than 400 cryptobiocabins to the regions of the country for registration of latest-generation passports. The peculiarity of MEK-215-2 is the possibility of sound amplification of speech and the presence of a narrow directional pattern, which helps to fix a narrow beam of sound without capturing the extra spectrum. The device is highly reliable and easy to use. A specially developed modification of the MKE-215-2 model in version A will be supplied for cryptobiocabins. Despite the fact that the MKE-215 was released at the end of 2018, the microphone is one of the best-selling products on the market, "said Lyubov Stalnova, marketing director of the Octava plant.
