Results of start of the Click & collect system in 150 hypermarkets in Russia

"Tape", one of retail networks of Russia, summed up the first results of work of service of the order and shipment at own expense of goods of Click & collect which works based on a cloud platform of e-commerce of SAP Commerce Cloud. On November 2, 2020 the SAP CIS company reported about it. For the beginning of November, 2020 service is started in 150 Lenta hypermarkets across all territory of Russia. At the same time the average bill of purchase through a system more, than exceeds a standard average bill in Lenty shops twice.

Implementation of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform became for Tape an important step on the way of development of omnichannel services. In plans of the company – further replication of the solution on all hypermarkets of network on all Russia.

Feature of the digital project was the fact that implementation was performed in the period of a pandemic therefore all works were carried out in the remote mode. The NOVARDIS company acted as the partner in implementation. A system was implemented in two months. For the same period Tape built the business processes which are absent earlier: complete set and order management, transactions of call center, etc.

The service of Click & collect is available to authorized users of the website lenta.com. After authorization access to the range of goods which all promotional offers and rewards programs affect is provided to the client.

Events of the last months showed that development of the online sales channel for retail networks is one of priorities. Service of the order and shipment at own expense allows network of hypermarkets not only to improve service, but also to support sales volumes during the periods when buyers are afraid to visit populous sales points because of an unstable epidemiological situation. Start of service of shipment at own expense of goods in 25 cities of Russia

On October 30, 2020 Tape, one of retail networks of Russia, announced scaling of Click & collect technology. Service became available in 48 cities of the country.

The service earned in 25 cities of presence of Tape at once, it is Achinsk, Biysk, Bratsk, Bryansk, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Izhevsk, Kazan, Kaluga, Kostroma, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhny Tagil, Novokuznetsk, Orenburg, Penza, Perm, Prokopyevsk, Ryazan, Samara, Smolensk, Surgut, Tver, Togliatti, Tula and Yurga.

Now residents of 48 cities can issue the order in a personal account on the website lenta.com and take away goods from shop in time, convenient for them. Clients got access to 80 percent of the range of goods, including alcoholic beverages, at the cost, identical with shop. When using service all advantages of the loyalty program of Tape remain, promotional offers and rewards programs work. It is possible to pay the order when receiving at specially selected checkout. The staff of shops is engaged in assembly of goods.

"Tape" started own project in the field of e-commerce in June, 2020, for several months he earned in 150 shops. More than 7 thousand buyers who made about 10 thousand orders used service. Wine, goods for sport and tourism, strong alcohol, accessories to gardening, coffee and tea became the most popular goods. More often than others the buyers living in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Petrozavodsk save time on visits of shop.

"Tape", one of retail networks of Russia, announced on July 31, 2020 start of Click & collect technology in Yekaterinburg, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Ulyanovsk. For July, 2020 service is available in 14 cities of presence of the company.

"Tape" continues scaling of own project in the field of e-commerce. The company started Click & collect technology in five cities. It covered all hypermarkets. In the capital of Russia this service is started in the pilot mode and is available in shop on Kozhukhovskaya Street.

Start of service of the order and shipment at own expense of goods from hypermarkets

On June 1, 2020 Tape, one of retail networks of Russia, implemented Click & Collect technology in shops of Vyborg and Pskov. Residents of these cities will be able to issue the order of products with the subsequent shipment at own expense.

Residents of these cities will be able to use service of the order and shipment at own expense of goods from shops of network. The service is available to authorized users of the website lenta.com. After authorization the client will get access to 80 percent of the range of goods, including alcoholic beverages. Cost will be identical to the price in shop. All promotional offers and rewards programs work.

After order placement it is necessary to select a two-hour interval of shipment at own expense of goods. It is possible to pay the order at specially selected checkout when receiving. Assembly of goods is performed by the staff of shops which underwent the corresponding training.

We have big plans for development of the project: in the future we are waited by considerable expansion of geography of service, upgrade of the website. SAP Specialists of the companies Novardis, FLS took part in project development on the platform and Crystal Service Integration. Development and a project startup are performed in two months.

We managed to prepare in two months the platform for start of online-of initiatives in the company. The management system for orders based on SAP Commerce Cloud was implemented. This solution is organically integrated with the existing IT landscape thanks to what bonuses, promo-offers, loyalty program points are available to users,
