As noted by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov, the construction of a high-tech complex for the development and production of drugs was completed ahead of schedule.

According to Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ, the new scientific and production complex that appeared at the Alabushevo site will become another representative of the medical equipment and biopharma industry actively developing in the special economic zone of the capital. A full launch of the enterprise is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023. More than 350 people will be able to find a job in production, - said Vladimir Efimov.

This production complex occupies about 33 thousand square meters. The company leases at the Alabushevo site of the special economic zone of the capital a land plot of more than three hectares at a preferential rate provided for residents of the SEZ of Moscow.

The company will develop and produce medicines. Each year, the company plans to produce up to 3.6 billion units of products under 80 different names. The target consumer of these goods will be the state health care system, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow.

The company will produce a large list of drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular, respiratory and musculoskeletal systems, the digestive tract, as well as antimicrobials for systemic use.

2020: Allocation of 2.8 billion rubles for the construction of a pharmaceutical plant

On June 26, 2020, DIiPP of Moscow announced that the resident of the SEZ Technopolice Moscow Brait Wei Industries LLC will begin construction pharmaceutical the plant at the end of June 2020.

The company plans to produce 78 types of medicines, which will reduce dependence on the import of medicines and meet the needs of all groups of residents of the city for medicines at affordable prices. The investor will invest 2.8 billion rubles in the implementation of the project and create almost 370 jobs, another 2.5 billion rubles will be used for tax deductions to budgets of all levels, "said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

This pharmaceutical production will appear on the territory of the SEZ "Technopolice" Moscow "at the site" Alabushevo "and will occupy a plot of 3.01 hectares, the area of ​ ​ the production complex will be 49.5 thousand square meters.

The plant will be put into operation in the third quarter of 2021. Thanks to the status of a resident and localization of production in the SEZ "Technopolice Moscow," the company can annually save up to 47 percent on taxes and other mandatory payments.

Brait Wei Industries became a resident of the special economic zone in May 2018.
