2015: Development of a SLAM system for robots

The Robots Can Dream company created a SLAM system for simultaneous localization and map development of an environment for the basic station robot Reeman.

Reeman robot

The robot, at positioning assessment, uses these odometries (a prediction cycle) and adjusts the provision due to video surveillance, applying 3D - and IK-cameras.

The sensors used by the robot (conform to standard 10DoF):
