On October 29, 2020 it became known that "Tinkoff" installed a thermal control system of access at office.

As it was explained, being in fact the IT company with the banking license, the company pays special attention to technological effectiveness of all workflows, hardware of the offices, including – to security issues. Against the background of development of the situation with a pandemic of a koronavirusny infection worldwide "Tinkoff", as well as many other companies in Russia, even in the spring of 2020 transferred all employees to the mode remote work. Since September, 2020 the office of the company became available to time visit by employees in case of need. There was a question: how in the context of the current epidemiological situation to ensure sanitary safety of personnel of the company during its stay in the territory of office?

In connection with the general recommendation of Rospotrebnadzor about carrying out daily thermometry at an input in offices, hospitals, on checkpoints of industrial enterprises, for personnel of shops and objects of transport infrastructure, "Tinkoff" began to use manual pyrometers for temperature measurement of each entering employee or the visitor. Input "filter" was organized at an input in business center "Vodny" where there is a company headquarters. All results of measurements were entered manually that considerably complicated process of incoming inspection, required additional resources from a security service.

Such non-technological method showed soon the insolvency as on check of one visitor using a pyrometer 3-5 seconds were required. As one more argument upgrade of process of thermometry was supported by the inconveniences connected with maintaining documentation. All this forced the company to look for more effective solution for execution of requirements of the regulator.

After market research and the existing offers specialists of "Tinkoff" stopped the choice on thermal terminals of access Hikvision DS-K5671-3XF/ZU with the built-in thermovision module, functions of intellectual video analytics for verification of presence of a protective mask on the person and also with ample opportunities for integration into the existing security infrastructure. In the project for "Tinkoff" terminals of access were integrated with tourniquets of the third-party producer which were already set at an input in business center "Vodny".

For equipment of entrance zones of business center "Vodny" 14 thermal terminals were purchased. Each device has two lenses – optical and thermovision using which the intelligent video system Hikvision allows to find a human face in a frame and to take temperature measurement in a control point on a forehead. Thanks to smart analytics the terminal does not react to other warm objects which can be included in the overview of a lens – heated glasses with drinks, mobile phones, etc. Temperature measurement is performed without participation of security service specialists or special personnel – at comfortable distance from 0.3 to 3 meters. Accuracy (± 0.5 °C) operations of the terminal completely conforms to requirements for not medical measuring devices therefore such system was suitable the customer for primary thermometry and identification of the facts of the increased temperature of visitors of office "Tinkoff".

Work of a thermal system is constructed based on the software of HikCentral 1.7 which allowed to automate completely work with the database and saved from need to fix information on temperature of employees in the manual mode.

One of the customer's wishes also was to automate verification of presence of protective masks. Function also managed to be implemented using the DS-K5671-3XF/ZU terminal: in the absence of a mask on the person sound signaling with a voice and text reminder on need of use of individual protection equipment for public places works. When the value of temperature exceeds the set parameters or on the person of the visitor there is no protective mask, the terminal transmits a blocking signal to the tourniquet controller – the person will not be able to undergo further without additional (control) testing of temperature or will not put on a mask yet. The disturbing notification also arrives to the responsible of a security service who takes further measures for control measurement using the medical equipment or to the direction of the visitor in a first-aid post for additional physical examination. Using the HikCentral platform a system creates statistics of visits with results of measurement and verification of presence of SIZ. It is possible to unload and browse the necessary data for the selected time period: day, week, month.

During implementation of a thermal control system of access on the customer's object efforts of partner integrator of the project – engineering company "Inarm" – and with the assistance of representatives of Hikvision executed a full stroke of works:

• testing of the ready-made solution;
• installation, connection and integration into the operating ACS (tourniquets);
• software setup of HikCentral 1.7 and testing of operation of the equipment in the different modes (only a thermography, a thermography and authentication on the person, etc.);
• training of security service specialists of bank in work with the updated system in the certified Hikvision program is HCSA-VMS.

In addition at the request of the customer the possibility of use of QR codes for replacement of time admissions for guests was implemented.

Specialists of Hikvision and Inarm also carried out customization of the solution on separate technical specifications of the client. Including the issue of use of necessary these visitors in an access control system was resolved. The operating ACS provided use in "Tinkoff" not only a name and a surname, but also middle names of employees that caused some difficulties at integration of a thermal system into the customer's IT infrastructure as the solution did not provide the column "middle name" in the database. Engineers of Hikvision quickly reacted to this request and finished the software of HikCentral, having added a necessary field for data entry.

Also jointly with specialists of Hikvision methods of integration into the current ACS directly in the territory of office "Tinkoff" for the subsequent authentication of users were developed and tested. This integration includes not just transfer of the card number which is assigned to the user, in the terminal, but also complete synchronization of data of the user in the general system and on the terminal. At integration the possibility of the centralized storage of logs about pass of users both by means of authentication on the person, and via the "classical" ACS with standard physical admissions was tested.

After implementation of the project there was an opportunity to control existence of masks and to check temperature in the automated mode. Without check of temperature and existence of a mask tourniquets will not pass either the staff of office, or visitors. Also the task of automation of accounting of visits and the additional information about temperature of employees and existence of a protective mask was solved.

In the future there will be an opportunity to refuse completely standard physical admissions (ID cards) and to use only terminals for authentication of visitors on the person.
