The president was presented with a 16-qubit quantum computer on ions, on which an algorithm for calculating a simple molecule - its modeling in real time - was launched using a cloud platform. The project of the system was developed as part of the implementation of the roadmap for quantum computing by a team of scientists from the Russian Quantum Center and the I.P. Lebedev Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the coordination of Rosatom.
