Integration with BVS "Geoskan 201"

The "Dome Communication" solution is integrated into domestic digital platforms for monitoring unmanned aircraft (BVS). During the experiment, the reference BVS "Geoskan 201" with the communication equipment "Gonets" and the drone subscriber were integrated with the digital platform for drones "Nebosvod" (developed by LLC Research Center "AEROSKAPT"), which made it possible to track the location of drones and external pilots. In turn, the navigation equipment of the Geoscan 201 drone subscriber was integrated into the FlyRF.RU flight operational awareness portal (developed by Decima LLC). Read more here.

Deployment of Remote Drone Identification Equipment

The Federal Air Agency transport Russia (Rosaviatsia) conducted large-scale tests of the remote identification system for unmanned aircraft with the participation of the industrial drones group of companies. " Geoscan Testing of the equipment was organized by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State Air Traffic Management Corporation" on behalf of the Federal Air Transport Agency to check compliance with the technical requirements of the state decree of November 30, 2024 No. 1701. This was announced on August 13, 2025 by the Geoskan company.

During the tests, five models of unmanned aerial vehicles manufactured by Geoskan were used: Geoskan 201, Geoskan 401, Geoskan 701, Geoskan 801 and Geoskan Gemini. On each side, the functionality of onboard AZN-B transmitters of two types - Hummingbirds and Mosquito - was installed and tested.

Rosaviatsia deployed equipment for remote identification of drones

The remote identification system successfully ensured the transfer of critical data to the Nebosvod digital platform and the digital flight plan presentation system. During testing, all unmanned aerial vehicles transmitted a full set of identification information, including identification index, registration number, aircraft category, current flight altitude and exact location coordinates.

In addition, an alternative method of transmitting identification data via a control and monitoring line with a ground control station was verified. All tested aircraft successfully passed the procedure for relaying information to the Nebosvod digital platform, confirming the reliability of the backup communication channel.

Vitaly Klintsevich, technical director of the Geoskan group of companies, noted that the company began integrating its own software of ground control stations with the Nebosvod platform back in 2023. According to him, this method of identification has long been available to users of unmanned aircraft systems manufactured by Geoskan[1]

System start-up

An automated system for preventing multiple "conflicts" of drones in the air based on the Nebosvod system has been launched in test mode in Russia. The system is being tested and is capable of preventing collisions while flying hundreds and thousands of drones at the same time. This was reported on May 21, 2025 in the press service of the National Technology Initiative.

According to RIA Novosti, experts are testing special mathematical models, algorithms and simulation complexes for the prevention of "conflicts." Vladislav Shifrin, Advisor to the General Director of the Research Center "Aeroscript" and market expert of the NTI "Aeronet," said that these developments help develop the logic of resolving multiple conflicts, as well as prevent collisions with obstacles on the ground.

Nebosvod drone collision prevention system launched in Russia

According to Shifrin, the new algorithm is able to anticipate dozens of types of potential collisions in the sky: oncoming, in which aircraft approach each other, lateral, combined, conflicts with a change in flight altitude, as well as catching up.

Multiple conflicts in the air are possible with high flight intensity, when a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles maneuver in airspace at the same time. Such situations are predicted in the future, with an increase in the use of drones in various areas of the economy.

In the future, it is planned to launch a digital polygon to create conflict prevention logic. At this training ground, it will be possible to automatically reproduce various flight scenarios using unmanned aircraft of various types.

The Nebosvod system is a comprehensive solution for controlling the movement of unmanned aerial vehicles in common airspace. It is designed to take into account the increasing need to coordinate the flights of many drones used in logistics, agriculture, infrastructure monitoring and other areas.[2]

2023: Integration with Geoscan Planner

Geoscan integrated own software for BVS ground control stations with "Nebosvod" system. Geoskan announced this on January 15, 2024. More. here

Start of simultaneous drone flights

In November 2022 Russia , simultaneous flights began drones on the national platform for organizing unmanned air traffic "Nebosvod."

It is noted that various types of drones are used to work out the process of delivering goods, monitoring infrastructure, and conducting agricultural work. Training takes place in the RuSPACE zone, which includes the North-West Federal District, Sakhalin and Belgorod regions, RIA Novosti reports.

Drone flights on domestic platform began in Russia

Air taxi tests started in November 2022 in the Chernozem region using the first domestic highly automated platform.

In 2023, more than 3 thousand flights of more than 50 types of devices, including unmanned air taxi, are planned in the zone. The platform was developed by the Aeroscript Research Center.

According to the developers, the Nebosvod platform allows you to quickly obtain permission to use airspace and provides external pilots with digital services to ensure safe flight. In addition, the platform accepts telemetry of drone flight directly without the use of additional equipment, which will help to integrate devices of various types, different manufacturers performing different types of missions into it.

The transfer of flight data from the ALS to Nebosvod is part of our great task of developing a set of standards for information interaction between the ALS operator and the platform. Including also the transfer of data on plans and operations, the transfer of data on risk assessment, and other data from the services of Nebosvod of the strategic pre-flight level and tactical level during the flight, - the words of Vladislav Shifrin, adviser to the general director of the Air Script Research Center, are quoted.[3]

Ability to get permission to fly drones faster

On April 4, 2022, the Skolkovo Foundation announced that permission to fly drones could be obtained 10 times faster using the Nebosvod digital platform.

The official distributor drones DJI Russia in will train pilots to use airspace. In the future, cooperation will simplify the process of obtaining permission to fly for drones.

The company '4vision' sells amateur, professional and industrial drones of the DJI brand on the territory of the Russian Federation. Within the framework of the partnership with the Skolkovo resident, a training program will be developed and a series of test flights based on the Nebosvod digital platform will be carried out.

The companies' cooperation will help reduce bureaucratic costs in obtaining permits for drone flights. After successful training using an electronic platform, the user will be able to coordinate the flight route of the drone directly with the regulatory authorities in a few days.

At the beginning of April 2022, permission to launch copters and drones must be obtained from the city administration and security structures. In the capital, for example, it is required to submit an application in person or by mail to the Department of Regional Security and Anti-Corruption. Officially, the maximum period for issuing a permit in Moscow is 24 working days. Using the Nebosvod platform, the approval time for the flight permit can be reduced several times.

The deadline for issuing flight permits is formed from two components: features of the regulatory framework and technical submission of documents. The 'Nebosvod' platform operates in full compliance with the regulatory framework. But due to the optimization of the collection and submission of data for flight coordination, the total time is significantly reduced. Using the "Nebosvod" platform, the approval time for flight permission can be reduced by up to 10 times,
said Alexey Khripunov, General Director of the Research Center "Aeroscript."
