Andrei Lazeev was born in 1973.

Education

In 1995 he graduated from the I.M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, in 2005 the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Career

1994-2006

From 1994 to 2005 He held various positions in organizations of the oil and gas industry (AOZT Manoil, OJSC Yuganskneftegaz, OJSC TNK-Nyagan).

From January 2006 to July 2006 - General Director of TNK-Nyagan OJSC.

2006-2012

From August 2006 to March 2009 - General Director of Novosibirsk OJSC.

From March 2009 to March 2011 - Deputy General Director for Geology and Field Development - Chief Geologist of Verkhnechonskneftegaz OJSC.

From 2011 to 2012 - Director of Strategic Development, General Director of Tyumen Oil Scientific Center LLC.

2012-2019

From December 2012 to March 2013 - Vice President for Field Development and Reserves of TNK-BP Management OJSC.

From 2013 to 2019 - Vice President and Chief Geologist of PJSC NK Rosneft, from 2016 to 2019. - Vice President for Geology and Development of PJSC ANK Bashneft (part-time).

2020

In 2020, he was appointed General Director of Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodokycha LLC and Lensky Oil Pipeline LLC (part-time).

2022: Appointment as Head of Bashneft

On May 24, 2022, Bashneft announced the appointment of Andrei Lazeev as the new CEO of the company. He replaced Hassan Tatriev, who in March 2022 was included in the British sanctions list.

As explained in Bashneft, the decision to appoint Lazeev was made in accordance with the company's policy on planned personnel rotation aimed at improving the efficiency of corporate governance.^[1]

Awards

He has state and departmental awards: Gratitude to the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation (2004), Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree (2015), Order of Honor (2019).
