2023: The volume of investments in Kamchatka for the year increased to ₽128,2 billion
Kamchatka Territory attracted private investment in the amount of ₽128,2 billion for 2023, which is 60% higher than in 2022. This was announced in October 2024 by the governor of the region Vladimir Solodov at a meeting on the implementation of investment projects.
According to the Registry Office Agency and Archival Businesses of the Kamchatka Territory, more than 250 investors with projects totaling about ₽300 billion have used state support regimes in the region, of which ₽106 billion have already been invested. The implementation of 79 projects has been completed, more than 11 thousand new jobs have been created.
The tourism sector has become a priority development industry, where investment growth was 53%. In 2023, 17 new hotels were built, increasing the number of accommodation by 1,031 units.
The largest investment project is the Three Volcanoes Park worth ₽67 billion, the implementation of which is planned for the period from 2020 to 2028. As of October 2024, ₽3,8 billion were spent. As part of the project, it is planned to build six hotels, restaurants, shops, 32 km of ski slopes and three cable cars.
The Cosmos Hotel Kamchatka company will invest ₽11,5 billion in the construction of a five-star tourist and recreational complex with three hotels and cottages for 231 rooms. The project is being implemented on the territory of the advanced development of Kamchatka.
By the end of 2024, it is planned to complete the construction of a new passenger terminal at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky International Airport with an area of more than 50 thousand square meters. The terminal will be equipped with five telescopic traps with the ability to increase to eight and will be able to serve 1,145 passengers per hour.
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yuri Trutnev said that the implementation of these projects will significantly increase the tourist attractiveness of the region and will contribute to the development of the country's economy.[1]

2024: Interros plans to build Three Volcanoes recreational complex in Kamchatka
In May 2024, it became known that Interros, whose assets already include Rosa Khutor, plans to build the Three Volcanoes recreational complex in Kamchatka.
According to the Minister of Tourism of the Territory Vladimir Rusanov, the construction is already in an active stage. A hotel and 48 km of ski slopes will appear in the area of the Goryachaya hill, volcanoes Vilyuchinsky and Mutnovsky. And also cable cars, two tourist camps and walking routes with a length of 155 km.
The volume of investments in this project will amount to about 67 billion rubles.
