2022: IT Infrastructure Building

On September 21, 2022, Jet Infosystems announced the equipment of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine of KhimkiJSC Medicine with a set of IT solutions: from data storage and information security systems to Wi-Fi 6 and multimedia.

According to the company, on the territory of the cancer center, the IT company also created a backup data center and configured its interaction with the main data processing center in Medicine JSC, located in Moscow on 2nd Tversky-Yamsky Lane.

The IT infrastructure of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine in Khimki is closely connected with its medical systems. Patient medical histories and examination results are stored electronically in the data storage system. All information is protected by network access control. It protects the RI network from external attacks, and also delimits employee access to RI services. The entire territory of the medical institution is covered with wireless radio communication - this allows doctors to always stay in touch and respond quickly to calls.

Part of the walls of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine are reinforced with a metal mesh that prevents the spread of a radio signal, including a Wi-Fi signal. In order to provide a wireless Internet connection for patients and doctors in all rooms of the institute building, IT company specialists have installed more than 180 high-speed Wi-Fi 6 access points. In IU wards, doctors can connect to panel screens to demonstrate the results of examinations. Also, patients can use these screens - specialists have installed a digital system in them television (IPTV) with 120 broadcast channels.

For the convenience of the institute's patients, video panels with information about the doctor, the hours of his appointment, as well as the current status of his presence in the office, are installed in front of the entrances to the offices instead of standard plates. In front of the entrances to the wards, video panels display the names of patients and the name of the attending physician. The public areas of the clinic have screens that are connected to the Digital Signage platform. Thanks to this platform, the IT service of JSC "Medicine" (clinic of Academician Reutberg) can quickly and simultaneously display information on all screens, which means that visitors will be able to timely learn important clinic news, as well as receive information about diagnostic and treatment methods in the medical center.
