2022: Transfer to test operation of GAZelle NN

On December 15, 2022, the Modern Transport Technologies company announced that it had transferred GAZelle NN for transportation of specially protected goods to the Main Special Communications Center for test operation. The car was designed by order of FSUE GCSS and is presented in a modification of increased security for reliable and safe transportation of valuables. The vehicle will carry cash and precious metals.

The car for FSUE GCSS was created on the basis of the GAZelle NN model according to the technical assignment of Special Communications and meets all the requirements of the customer. The main feature of GAZ cars of the NN family is a digital control model that allows you to bring to a high level the efficiency of modern active and passive safety systems and ensure the safety of cargo.

The car was provided for test operation by the distributor of GAZ equipment - GK "Modern Transport Technologies," the vehicle was modified by PKF "Luidor." The changes made taking into account the specifics of the Special Communications transport affected the improvement of internal equipment and the strengthening of the car protection complex. The increased level of safety of the car is responsible for the strong protection of the body with a reinforced compartment for transporting goods, a continuous burglar-resistant system of metal sheets 1.5 mm thick installed in the interior of the cabin, a door on reinforced hinges and a special mounting structure for the sliding door of the drive, which completely eliminates spontaneous falls of transported objects under vibration loads during the movement of the car.

Also, the car is equipped with the ERA-GLONASS system, which provides prompt notification of emergency services in the event of road accidents, an automatic fire extinguishing device, external and internal video cameras, a video recorder and a salon-street intercom.

Pilot operation of the machine is planned in Moscow and the Moscow region on routes for the transportation of cash and precious metals, which will be carried out by the courier of the Special Communications Department.
