Micron introduced an automated system for recording and monitoring the movement of works of art at the State Research Museum of Architecture named after A.V. Shchusev. The solution allows you to promptly revise exhibits of cultural heritage, register key events related to their transfer for restoration, to storerooms or on-site exhibition events, and also protects against theft and unauthorized access to museum collections and other accounting objects, including books and souvenirs. This was announced on January 19, 2023 by Micron.

Digitization museum funds are a task of state importance. As part of the development program digital economy in 2019-2024 RUSSIAN FEDERATION. the national project "Culture" is being implemented. The goal is to ensure a qualitatively different level infrastructures of cultural development and make cultural heritage more technologically accessible through digital process transformation.

The inventory of the museum is a time-consuming and lengthy procedure, with a manual process unique items can be damaged or lost. The digital tool will reduce the time of control over almost 1 million exhibits and will ensure the accurate transfer of the information array. In January 2023, the first batch of RFID Micron tags has already been delivered to provide the necessary functionality. The project was implemented in the exhibition halls and in the retail sales area of ​ ​ the museum, commented Roman Shmelev, head of the security department of the State Research Museum of Architecture named after A.V. Shchusev.

Functionality of the digital system in the museum infrastructure: inventory of art objects using radio frequency marking, remote monitoring of their movements and quick search; automated reconciliation and up-to-date information on subjects and important processes; automated report and management accounting; safety system.

Current technologies and automated systems enter the life of museums, solving the problems of cultural funds of the technological generation. In the museum field, where the risk of human factors is high, large temporary and labor resources are required, Micron inventory and control systems greatly simplify the routine work of employees and increase the safety of values, believes Vasily Volosov, RFID Sales Director IT and JSC Micron.

The system of accounting and control of museum values ​ ​ includes a set of radio-frequency marks produced by Micron for marking objects, a mobile RFID data collection terminal, an anti-reflection frame with an RFID antenna and a reader developed by Micron, an RFID printer and domestic software. The software package is integrated with the accounting system of the customer 1C, the equipment is located at the entrance/outlet of the exhibition hall and in the cash area.

For the purpose of identification and further remote control, each exhibit and product is assigned an individual number. All objects are marked with labels, which are registered in the software complex database and 1C. The information assigned to the label contains the necessary information about the subject: account number, name, short description and other data. RFID equipment and software provides instant recording/reading of information and integrates it into the accounting program in real time. This allows you to quickly identify and inventory exhibits, books and souvenirs, get a detailed report, including about the actual balances. When selling goods in the 1C accounting system, write-off operations are carried out, and in case of illegal removal of property through the anti-theft frame, an appropriate message is sent to the security console and a light and sound alarm is triggered.
