Samara University, Modeling and Digital Twins JSC (MCD JSC) and Fidesys LLC signed an agreement on strategic cooperation. This alliance will increase the scientific and technical potential of the industrial cluster in the region, including through import substitution of engineering software. As part of the cooperation, the parties plan to form a Competence Center for Engineering Calculations CAE Fidesys on the basis of an advanced engineering space school and institute aviation space-rocket and technology. Samara university It will be based on the scientific and technical capabilities of Samara University, as well as the knowledge and experience of MCD JSC and Fidesys LLC.

The agreement will ensure the implementation of the CAE Fidesys software package in the educational process. Thus, the Samara Institute will give students and teachers the opportunity to use the CAE Fidesys licensing solution and methodological materials, thereby increasing the efficiency of training specialized specialists in the field of digital design.

The parties also plan to test other products and technologies. Other prospects for cooperation include joint research activities, the preparation and holding of symposia and scientific and practical conferences, as well as much more.

In 2023, the university is developing in an updated paradigm, other growth points arise, one of which is the created competence center. He is in the making. The employees are faced with the task of quickly mastering the software product and using it for the tasks of geometric modeling, strength analysis, heat exchange, kinematics and dynamics, research of technological processes, noted the director of the advanced engineering aerospace school Ivan Tkachenko.

To carry out educational and research activities, the Competence Center of Samara University acquired 30 academic and 2 commercial licenses for the CAE Fidesys software complex of domestic development.

The university is following the path of digital modeling and design, in particular, the creation of digital twins.
