Functionality and tasks to be solved

The innovative VizorLabs solution reduces the over-standard downtime of locomotives through the use of computer vision, as well as systematize and analyze information received from automatic data sources.

As a test site for the implementation of the project, the Anisovka operational locomotive depot on the Volga highway was chosen.

Results

• The downtime of locomotives at the station and depot decreased by 15% and 10%, respectively.
• 18 locomotives were released daily.
• Due to additional cargo transportation, road revenue increased by 94 million rubles.
• A conclusion was prepared on the readiness of traction rolling stock for operation after operations carried out at PTOL.
• The completed work made it possible to form a pilot polygon for the subsequent development of digital solutions. Among them is the technology of mobile vision, which implies the use by personnel of helmets with video cameras for automatic recording of work carried out inside the locomotive and at the observation position under it.
