2023: Automation of two warehouses with Axelot WOS X5
project During the two warehouses of Transit the company, located in different cities, they were automated as part of one installation of the sweet management system. The implementation AXELOT WOS was one of two steps towards comprehensive automation of logistics the company and was carried out. in parallel with implementation AXELOT TMS This was AXELOT reported in the company on August 18, 2023.
Transit, together with AXELOT, implemented a project for integrated logistics automation, which affected both warehouses and the transport division.
The need to automate the accounting of accepted cargoes in real time was a key reason why the company's management planned the implementation of a warehouse automation system. Together with AXELOT, Transit conducted a comparative analysis of AXELOT - WOS systems and, it WMS was decided that the functionality of AXELOT WOS would be sufficient to achieve the set goals.
During the project, within the framework of one information base, two sites of the Transit company were launched in different regions - in the Moscow region and in the Primorsky Territory. In the system, employee roles and accesses were restricted to the warehouses in which they work. The introduction of AXELOT WOS made it possible to optimize business processes and save personnel from working on "paper." During the project, a separate workplace was created for receiving and placing cargo items, taking into account the division into different types of receipt - accepting cargo from the client, accepting cargo from the driver and unloading the machine (as part of transportation between company warehouses). In addition, the Packaging workplace was created, where incoming cargo items are repackaged in accordance with the company's regulations. The process takes into account the number of cargo items to be packed, their weight and volume, as well as the high-temperature loads after repackaging.
In parallel with the introduction of AXELOT WOS, another AXELOT project team worked on the implementation of the AXELOT TMS system, as well as the AXELOT SCAP module, the use of which should improve the efficiency of the company's transport logistics and prepare it for an increase in the number of applications. To integrate AXELOT WOS with CIS and AXELOT TMS, AXELOT specialists used the DATAREON MQ message queuing service.
The introduction of AXELOT WOS in Transit warehouses significantly reduced the time required to perform warehouse operations, reduced the impact of the human factor and increased the speed of cargo handling. As expected, the system allows you to monitor incoming and outgoing goods flows online and record all stages of cargo processing, as well as inform responsible warehouse employees about inconsistencies and errors.
