Logistics of Transit prefabricated cargo is now managed by the Axelot TMS X4 system

2023: Introduction of Axelot TMS X4 and Axelot SCAP systems

As part of integrated logistics automation, Transit has implemented the AXELOT TMS X4 system to manage transportation processes in the business direction of delivery of prefabricated goods, as well as the AXELOT SCAP service, which is responsible for optimal route planning. This was announced on August 4, 2023 by AXELOT.

Transit LLC is an international transport company operating on the market for more than 16 years and annually processes more than 300,000 TEUs. The company has more than 20 units of ships on the line and a dry container terminal, which is large in the Far East, a railway fleet that includes more than 2,000 fitting platforms, a fleet of 350 truck tractors and container ships, more than 25,000 own containers.

The company "Transit" provides services in the field of road transportation in Moscow and the Moscow region, the Leningrad region, Novosibirsk and the Far Eastern region. The large base of the company's assets and a huge fleet make it possible to sell container transportation, delivery of prefabricated goods, forwarding support, export of cargo from the port and railway station, transportation of oversized goods.

In connection with the opening and active development of another line of business for the delivery of prefabricated goods, Transit decided to introduce a system that would help automate transportation processes and close the company's needs, including taking into account the projected growth in the number of delivery applications in the future.

Based on the results of an analysis of the Russian IT market and a comparison of the capabilities of the TMS solutions presented on it, the Transit management made a choice in favor of AXELOT TMS. The system not only covered all the main needs of the company in automating transportation processes in its typical functionality, it also took into account the experience of AXELOT specialists accumulated by them when automating similar companies in scale and direction of activity. The implementation of AXELOT TMS was carried out by the developer company's specialists, they also proposed, in addition to the chosen solution, to implement the AXELOT SCAP route planning service. Both products are seamlessly integrated with each other, which allows you to ensure maximum planning efficiency and the ability to quickly make adjustments when changing certain parameters.

AXELOT TMS communicates with the corporate information system through the DATAREON MQ software product. The specialists of the project teams of the contractor and the customer performed the exchange setting together. The AXELOT WOS system was also connected to the integration loop, the implementation of which was carried out in parallel by another AXELOT project team.

Thanks to the introduction of AXELOT TMS in Transit, the processes of transportation in the business direction of delivery of prefabricated goods are fully automated. Delivery routes are planned taking into account various parameters, which allows the company to offer a high-level service with delivery "on time" taking into account various wishes of customers. And interaction with AXELOT WOS allows you to comprehensively close the needs of the business in managing warehouse and transport logistics - from the moment of delivery of cargo to the warehouse, within the framework of warehouse cargo processing and until the end customer receives it.
