The company's divisions are located in three cities: the head office is located in Moscow, the development team is based in Ulyanovsk, testers work in Kazan. To solve large-scale problems in terms of providing corporate services, the company has created and operates an IT infrastructure, which includes:

A number of reasons prompted the IT team of JSC Kwanter to reconsider its approach to data protection. Firstly, the policy of prohibitions and restrictions adopted by foreign software developers under the conditions of sanctions predetermined the company's turn towards decisions of domestic vendors. Secondly, possible abnormal situations on information storage systems, data centers require a reliable solution with wide functionality, protection from human factors and prompt data recovery in case of force majeure.

The new IT solutions were supposed to provide reliable protection:

• personal data,
• system data on physical and. virtual servers

The IT team of Quantera has prepared a list of criteria for choosing software products. Specialists needed software with a wide range of functions.

We needed a scalable infrastructure solution for data backup recovery and storage that met tough requirements: stable and reliable operation, easy integration into infrastructure and fast work, workload protection, instant recovery, support for different file systems, and much more. The availability of self-deployment of systems was also important. I note that we chose exactly. domestic software This was one of the key requirements, emphasized the head of the information infrastructure department of JSC "Kwantera" Pavel Ledyankin.

Backup Requirements:

For such an impressive list of requirements, not every backup solution is suitable. This was revealed when the company's IT specialists began to analyze the RMS options available on the Russian market. So, one domestic system was abandoned, since it did not support the backup function from virtual machines. And in general, the software did not meet the full range of requirements of developers of high-tech products.

As a result of the selection, the IT team of Quantera JSC chose two products of the Russian company Cyberprotect:

• Cyber Backup Backup System;
• Cyber ​ ​ Infrastructure hyperconverged system.

Cyberprotect solutions fully meet our requirements both in terms of functionality and reliability, and in terms of cost. Licenses for products were supplied by SysSoft, a partner of Cyberprotect. It took 10 working days to implement the system, taking into account all the approval procedures adopted by the company. After starting the system, some employees of the IT department received training on the use of this software package.

Engineers of JSC "Quantera" have already managed to assess the features of the products of the company "Cyberprotect." They note the reliability and uninterrupted operation of the system, thoughtful options, high speed of backup and recovery of data. Cyberprotect software products have proven their performance in emergency situations.

As of August 2023, Cyberprotect products protect about 10 TB of the company's data.

All installed software works stably, without failures. The system was tested in real conditions, in practice proving its capabilities to competitors.
