2023: Software Robot Implementation
The State Housing Inspectorate of St. Petersburg, together with the Committee for Informatization and Communications, successfully introduced a software robot that ensured the interaction of two information systems: the federal - State Information System of Housing and Communal Services and the regional - Unified System of Electronic Document Management and workflow. This was announced on October 16, 2023 by the press service of the vice-governor of St. Petersburg S.V. Kazarin.
The robot turned out to be an indispensable assistant for the Inspection staff, increasing the efficiency of their activities.
With robotization, authorities automate routine tasks. Save invaluable time, save employees from the need to mechanically perform repetitive operations. The idea is to exclude a person from monotonous business processes. The system performs a series of predefined tasks. Software robots "understand" what is on the screen: they perform the right button presses, move around systems and extract data. At the same time, they do it much faster and more accurately than a person, - commented the vice-governor of St. Petersburg Stanislav Kazarin. |
As a result, operating costs are reduced, the quality of labor results is improved, management processes are accelerated.
One of the main tasks of the robot is to promptly track requests received by the State Information System of Housing and Communal Services (GIS Housing and Communal Services) and automate the process of registering such requests in the Unified System of Electronic Document Management and workflow.
Every month, citizens send more than 2,000 requests to the Inspectorate through the GIS ZhKhK.
Automation of the process made it possible to reduce the burden of registering requests and, accordingly, reduce the time for their submission for consideration by three times. This enables employees to quickly receive information and respond quickly to emerging problems.
The introduction of the software robot was an important step in optimizing the work of the GZI within the framework of the Effective Region program, which is being implemented on behalf of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
