According to Rosstat, the paid medical services market ranks fifth in terms of volume among all paid services in Russia, while the share of users looking for medical services through online platforms is growing. Avito's experts predict an increase in the market to 7.3 trillion rubles by 2029.

Ads will be able to place only clinics registered as legal entities or individual entrepreneurs. At the first stage, this will be possible in the subcategories "Dentistry" and "Other" - for services in dentistry, ophthalmology, therapy and several other popular areas. In the future, the list of specializations will expand.

To improve the safety of users, all medical institutions will have to undergo mandatory document verification. When placing an advertisement, the service requires a license number. The data are verified through the Unified Register of Licenses of Roszdravnadzor: not only the availability of a license from the clinic is checked, but also the compliance of the declared type of medical activity and the region. The life of the announcement is 30 days, after which, when republishing, the license details are re-checked.

As of May 2025, the volume of the online market in the field of beauty services is 6% of the entire service market in the country, and has significant growth potential. According to the platform, in 2024 the demand for services in the category increased by 11% year-on-year. The areas of hairdressing services (+ 15%) and the design of eyebrows and eyelashes (+ 31%) are growing especially quickly.

The Avito Services have launched a subscription service for beauty masters. Avito announced this on April 3, 2025.

This product offers entrepreneurs expanded opportunities to attract customers.

The tool expands the possibilities of issuing offers: it allows you to add more photos and videos, hides competitors from the announcement card, and also offers additional opportunities for communication with customers - auto-responses and sending discounts.

Subscription simplifies the work of craftsmen with the platform and helps to build effective communication with customers. In beauty services, visual content plays a key role, and the expanded capabilities for photo and video presentation allow you to clearly demonstrate services and strengthen audience confidence.

According to Avito Services, in the first quarter of 2025, demand for eyelash and eyebrow craftsmen increased by 29% compared to the same period last year, and demand for hairdressers increased by 12%. These data indicate the relevance of the new functionality, which will help entrepreneurs stand out against the backdrop of growing demand and competition.

After connecting the subscription, wizards will be able to add up to 30 photos and a video to the ad. Also, in performer ads with a connected subscription, the recommendations of other specialists, which are usually displayed at the bottom of the page, will be hidden. To improve communication with customers, the functions of setting up auto-responses in the messenger and the ability to launch up to 15 mailings with special offers to potential customers are available.

For April 2025, the subscription is available only for private craftsmen providing beauty services on the platform. In the future, the company plans to develop a tool for beauty salons, as well as in other categories of services.

Search for carriers along the route

On March 10, 2025, Avito.ru introduced technological functionality for finding carriers at Avito Services.

Now users can quickly find suitable performers by simply specifying the transportation route and type of cargo, as well as specifying the task: transportation of cargo, moving or other service. The carrier adds special parameters (task, direction, cargo type) to the description of its service, by which the client can find it. Thus, the user sees the most suitable performers for his request.

The widget allows customers to find a carrier by distance and route. This makes the search process more convenient, since the system immediately offers performers working along the desired route. The function is relevant both for business and for individuals who need to quickly find a carrier. According to Avito Services, with the help of this widget, the demand for transportation around the city increased by 26%, and for intercity - by 65%. This functionality increased the probability of a successful order by 5% compared to traditional search.

2024: Skill to analyze reviews

Avito trained his own large language model (LLM) to analyze the reviews left about the masters and draw up a short help on their basis. The company announced this on October 7, 2024.

It will contain a summary of all reviews with key advantages and shortcomings of the performer. Thus, the platform helps potential customers to form a general idea of ​ ​ the service provider, highlight his key qualities and give conscientious users more attention to customers.

Users of the test group will see the "Neural network collected the main thing" block. The algorithm analyzes user opinions, finds matches and creates a generalized review based on them, consisting of two blocks "Advantages" and "Disadvantages." If there is only one information about the performer, the second will not be shown. Buyers will see information about the qualities of service providers who are interested in most of them in the first place: speed, accuracy, responsiveness, quality of work. Users can independently check the information by examining the reviews below. In addition, at the test stage, it will be possible to assess the response written by the algorithm. This will improve the system, make it more accurate and informative.

The basis for the algorithm was a large language model trained by the developers of Avito. Generative models are already used on the platform, including to help users create descriptions of goods in the category "Shoes, clothes, accessories." To train the algorithm to find and highlight key meanings in published reviews, a team of AI editors was involved, who made markup based on more than 20 thousand examples. Additional training of the algorithm and direct work is carried out on Avito's own computing power.

In test mode, this function was launched in several categories of Avito Services. At the first stage, about 50% of users will see tips from artificial intelligence. In the future, it is planned to scale the function to other Avito verticals.

2023: Addition of Service Offer Valuations

The Avito Services platform has a function for assessing the cost of service offers. The service will show the average prices for the selected service based on platform data, and will also tell you what cost is indicated in the performer's announcement - above or below the average on the platform. Avito announced this on December 20, 2023.

The tool will help users choose the most suitable offer, allow them to compare services from different performers and eliminate the need to spend time viewing a large number of ads. For craftsmen and companies that provide services, the tool will make it possible to correlate their prices for services with market ones.

Information on average prices for the service is generated by Avito algorithms based on data on offers on the platform, taking into account the region of service provision, the specified experience of the contractor, as well as whether the service is provided by a private specialist or a company.

At the first stage, the function is available for ads in the categories "Household services," "Cleaning," "Training and courses," in the future the tool will be scaled to other categories of services.
