In Moscow, there are more than 60 enterprises in the field of microelectronics, which employ over 20 thousand employees. In recent years, companies have been actively increasing the production of their own products. So, one of them began the production of RFID readers that work at a long distance. A similar device has already been installed at the Pulkovo airport for accelerated passage of cars and taxis, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The device, developed by the company, SAUK is located near the barrier and allows certain cars to enter special "storage" sites that are located near the airport exit. Special radio tags are placed in cars, which are read by the device at a distance of up to 15 meters. Devices are also in demand in warehouses and industries for accounting for goods, access control transport in closed areas and parking lots, as well as in anti-theft systems.

Domestic equipment has replaced Western products due to the quality, reliability and localization of production. Readers and tags of well-known foreign brands cease to be supplied to Russia, and companies that installed them earlier face the refusal of technical support from Western companies.
