Representatives of the automobile plant announced the start of assembly of cars under the Xcite brand in March 2024. Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov said that in 2024 the company plans to produce 25 thousand cars.

The Xcite X-Cross 7 is a mid-size crossover powered by a 1.5-litre petrol turbo engine and 147 horsepower. The maximum speed of the model is 186 km/h. In appearance and specifications, the Xcite X-Cross 7 is identical to the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, making it an attractive choice for buyers looking for a reliable and functional car.

The car is equipped with modern options and technologies. Among them are a stabilization system, adaptive cruise control and a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin is made of high-quality materials and provides enough space for passengers and luggage.

The Xcite X-Cross 7's exterior design combines modern lines and dynamic styling, making it appealing to city dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts. The crossover is available in a variety of colour options, allowing each customer to choose a model to their liking.

Sales of the Xcite X-Cross 7 began after the plant was transferred from Nissan under the control of FSUE NAMI, and then sold to AvtoVAZ. Initially, AvtoVAZ began large-unit assembly of cars under the Lada brand, but the partnership with the Chinese FAW did not work out, and the assembly at the site in St. Petersburg was discontinued.

In 2024, with the launch of the Xcite brand, the St. Petersburg Automobile Plant continues its work, providing Russian consumers with new car models.[1]
