2024: Software Robot Implementation

The State Technical Inspectorate of St. Petersburg, together with employees of the St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center, has introduced a software robot into its work. This was announced on September 19, 2024 by the press service of the vice-governor of St. Petersburg S.V. Kazarin.

As a result, interaction was ensured robot with several automated information systems used by the inspection, as well as with arrays data obtained from photo and video recording cameras of the hardware and software complex "Safe City" City Monitoring Center.

Cameras identify on the streets of St. Petersburg self-propelled vehicles (tractors, self-propelled road construction cars, utilities, agricultural cars, off-road motor vehicles and other types of equipment) that have not passed technical inspection.

Identification is carried out using the state registration plate. Further, information about the revealed violations is received by the State Technical Supervision of St. Petersburg to the duty inspector. The robot helps the inspector to draw up the necessary documents for conducting control supervisory measures.

As of September 2024, the robot is being tested, which demonstrates good performance. The time spent on the preparation and execution of documents has been reduced by 2 times.
