Implementation of automated inventory

The Russian IT-The company RIQUITLAB on September 23, 2025 announced the introduction of additional functionality in the IT asset management solution TIKITRIK Asset Management, which automates inventory processes.

The updated tool focuses on midsize and large business companies, including organizations with geographically distributed teams and remote employees. With its help, you can conduct both planned and unscheduled inventory of any IT assets - from servers and laptops to monitors and headsets. The functionality also allows you to configure filters for selective verification of the desired asset groups.

Employees will be able to mark the presence of equipment directly in the system by scanning bar or QR codes using a phone, tablet or scanner. For remote workers, it is possible to independently confirm the presence of assets with the attachment of a photo or video. All information is automatically entered into the system, eliminating the need for manual entry and reducing the number of errors.

Inventory in TIKITRIK Asset Management is a "program in a program": a set of parallel scenarios for reconciliation of assets and confirmations. All data is captured on the system automatically, without manual PivotTables and file transfers. This speeds up and simplifies work for both IT departments and distributed teams, as well as reduces operational risks associated with losses and inaccuracies in accounting, - said Artem Khizhny, General Director of RIKITLAB.

The added functionality is already being tested by pilot customers and will be available to all TIKITRIK users in December 2025.

Ability to set deferral, frequency and duration of reminders

RIKITLAB has improved the mail notification system in TIKITRIK Asset Management's IT asset management solution. The upgrade simplifies process control and reduces the risk of hardware and document errors and downtime. The company announced this on August 19, 2025.

The main changes concern the flexible configuration of notification logic and automatic escalation. Now you can set the delay, frequency and duration of reminders - from soft reminders once a week to strict control with an interval of a day. In this case, a multi-level escalation is implemented: if an employee does not respond to a notification, the system automatically connects his line manager, then the higher management and the asset manager. For example, if the TIKITRIK Asset Management act is delayed, it first notifies the employee and then their management, which allows you to quickly complete the process and minimize risks.

The updated notifications cover a wide range of scenarios - from notifications about the signatures of acceptance certificates and the return of equipment issued before a certain date, to notifications about the completion of guarantees, renewal of licenses, changes in the status of users and other options.

Support for various QR and barcode formats

RIKITLAB has released an update to the TIKITRIK Asset Management IT asset management solution. The updated release includes refinements to improve accounting transparency, strengthen analytics and simplify the IT service. Repair management implements end-to-end fixation of all stages of equipment maintenance. Administrators can enter data on the defect, preliminary assessment and actions of the contractor, as well as the actual cost, description of the work and warranty status. Now the process is completely transparent: for each asset you can see how many times it was repaired, for what reasons and with what costs - this helps to make informed decisions, for example, about decommissioning equipment.

The TIKITRIK Asset Management analytics section has been supplemented with two reports. The Balance Control Report uses color indication (green, yellow, red) and automatic notifications, signaling the need to replenish or redeploy IT assets. This mitigates the risk of lack of stock of the necessary IT assets due to accurate control and correctly set thresholds. An asset balance report with a flexible filter system has also been added, which helps to quickly track the state of equipment in various sections and more accurately understand and plan changes by IT assets.

To speed up routine operations, a mass data editing tool, Workshop, has been added to the system. It allows you to simultaneously make changes to the cards of a large number of assets, including warranty dates, support, inventory numbers, organizational affiliation and other parameters. The function is required in the scenarios of migration, reorganization of departments, when updating purchasing data, control and information fields.

TIKITRIK Asset Management also received extended support for any label formats for marking equipment, including barcodes, QR codes and individual templates. The configuration is performed by the RIKITLAB technical team, taking into account the customer's requirements - by the format, content and location of the elements. This simplifies inventory, allows you to unify the process and conveniently label both large and small equipment.

Another change is intelligent search, which automatically prompts for possible options as you enter a query. The search function analyzes the entered characters and context, and then offers the most relevant results in real time. The updated search system allows you to find assets responsible for assets, sites and other entities almost instantly.

TIKITRIK Asset Management's original architecture and optimized algorithms allow you to process large amounts of data at high speed. Even under heavy load, the system maintains an average response time of 0.3 seconds without requiring powerful servers. To start working, 8 GB of RAM and 200 GB of disk space are enough.
