Concern Telematics and Rusdor-Finance Group of Companies have created a joint venture Rusdor Telematics, a toll road operator in Russia, and a competence center for the introduction of intelligent transport systems (ITS). This was reported to TAdviser on December 19, 2024 by representatives of the Telematics concern.
"The joint venture format is our effective model of working with partners, where we undertake long-term obligations not only to create and implement intelligent systems, but also to operate and fulfill the indicators of the purpose of systems for their effective functioning both in the interests of users and in the interests of the grantor and concessionaire," said Alexey Nashchekin, General Director of the concern. |
The first project of the joint venture was the Yuzhno-Lytkarinskaya toll road (YULA) under construction in the Moscow region, where technological solutions for paying for travel will be available to users.
In particular, on the Yuzhno-Lytkarinskaya toll road, it is planned to introduce flagship solutions of the Telematics concern, including a barrier-free toll collection system "Free Stream," which will allow drivers not to slow down at payment points, reducing travel time. The system will support transponders, postpaid format based on number recognition, as well as payment using a mobile application operating in the virtual transponder format. Also, the track will be equipped with an automated next-generation traffic control system with smart incident recognition to improve road safety. It is assumed that thanks to advanced technologies, the Yuzhno-Lytkarinskaya toll road will unload several departure highways of federal and regional significance for millions of drivers.
"Combining competencies through the creation of a joint venture is an effective approach for us in managing the road. We get the best technological solutions for the implementation of the concession, our own competence center with a professional team that implements the full cycle of the project at all stages from the creation to the maintenance of intelligent transport systems, - said Alexey Stroganov, General Director of Rusdor-Finance LLC. "Such a single center for toll collection, construction and operation of ITS will simplify the management and control, as well as the development of intelligent systems on the road." |
