The laboratory was created on the basis of the Institute of Intelligent Cyber ​ ​ Systems (IIX) of the NRNU MEPhI. It will include graduates and teachers of the Department of Cryptology and Cybersecurity, as well as BI.ZONE specialists with expertise in finding vulnerabilities in computer systems and conducting CTF competitions.

The main areas of work of the laboratory are joint research projects with master's and senior undergraduate students, as well as support and development of the CTF community of NRNU MEPhI. The laboratory will become a platform where students can gain valuable experience, which in the future will be useful in professional activities.
