There are two ideas here. The first was expressed at the beginning of this year that those who have been ill can acquire the right to return to work, because the disease does not pose a danger to them. At first glance, this idea was correct. At the second glance, it turns out that discrimination for health reasons is obtained here. And on the third, it turns out that these certificates can be bought in the same way as medical books are being bought now, "Vlasov said.[5][6]

A consortium has been created in Europe to develop a blockchain system of health passports with a mark on COVID-19

On May 23, 2020, it became known about the creation in Europe of a consortium engaged in the development of passports of immunity to the coronavirus COVID-19. The development will be based on blockchain technology.

The first participants in the consortium were the Swiss manufacturer of information security solutions SICPA, the French developer of the OpenHealth medical data processing platform and the Estonian blockchain startup Guardtime.

In Europe, they began to create health passports that should help accelerate the return of people to ordinary life after the coronavirus pandemic

The partners agreed to create a solution that will allow the issuance and management of health passports, as well as control the level of immunity of the population in real time.

According to Ledger Insights in a May 23, 2020 publication, over the past few weeks, the authorities of countries and companies have been considering various technological solutions that contribute to mitigating the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis. One of the options on offer is the use of health passports or immunity certificates, which would allow people to return to normal life faster. Founded by SICPA, OpenHealth and Guardtime, the consortium has taken up the development of such a solution.

As conceived by the initiators of the project, the SICPA Certus platform will allow people to receive fake-proof certificates of the presence of antibodies to COVID-19 in the body. The Certus system is already being used by the French Ministry of Defense to combat the coronavirus.

Verification can be performed using a mobile application that locally stores anonymous test results. Certus uses QR codes and blockchain-based digital printing technology to confirm receipt of the message. Any document released on Certus is assigned a unique QR code that is digitally signed and then protected by the blockchain.

Guardtime for this project will provide KSI Blockchain technology, which will mark the time of testing a person for immunity to coronavirus and make it impossible to falsify, thereby protecting the integrity of data.

As for the OpenHealth platform, it will allow authorities and health authorities to manage medical data and track the spread of the virus using identified data.[7]
