Printing Devices (Global Market)

The print market is affected by trends in the global PC market. So, if in Europe the computer market showed a decline in 2011, then it was not possible to avoid a similar decline in the market of printers and copiers. Nevertheless, in 2012, analysts do not expect dramatic downgrades and give a generally positive forecast. One of the main trends in 2012 in the printer market will be the development of mobile printing. Another current trend is printing in the cloud based on email services.

2023: Global Widescreen Printer Market Grows Thanks to Chinese Brands

At the end of 2023, global sales of printers for large-format printing rose 0.2% compared to the previous year. Moreover, this insignificant growth was achieved primarily thanks to Chinese brands, as stated in the IDC study, the results of which were released on March 5, 2024.

Analysts note that the market suffered due to the deteriorating macroeconomic situation, which provoked a high level of inflation and a reduction in IT budgets in organizations around the world. Because of this, international brands faced a 5.2% reduction in sales of widescreen printers compared to 2022. At the same time, Chinese suppliers were able to increase sales of such devices in 2023 by 17%, which was largely facilitated by the lifting of restrictions imposed in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. In general, at the end of 2023, the share of Chinese brands in the market under consideration amounted to 28.3%.

Global sales of widescreen printers up 0.2%

Due to sluggish domestic demand, Chinese brands began to shift their focus to the international market in 2023. Due to the price advantage, suppliers from China were able to interest customers in Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe (together), South America and Asia-Pacific. Year-on-year sales growth in these regions was 35.5%, 29.7%, 20.1% and 12%, respectively. In the Asian market, sales of Chinese brands increased by more than 30% in India, Indonesia and Malaysia compared to 2022.

On the international market, Chinese widescreen printers are in demand primarily in the advertising industry. At the same time, such devices gradually penetrate into other areas, such as printing on clothes, photographic printing, etc. IDC believes Chinese brands have the potential to grow further in widescreen printing.[1]

2021:10 Printer Market Trends - IDC

In mid-April 2021, IDC analysts presented 10 main trends in the print device market, which, according to experts, set directions for the further development of the industry.

1. Moving to work from home

The pandemic has led to the widespread movement of work to home, and now one of the tasks of suppliers is to provide home users with the level of support and services that they are accustomed to in the office. In general, analysts say, the new conditions will force companies and service providers to use various remote strategies within the framework of the main proposals.

2. High-quality equipment at home

Some printer suppliers noted the demand for corporate printing from home and released new unique models. New printers provide business-level security and manageability while taking up less space and at a lower price than standard commercial printers.

3. Return to offices

The return to offices is expected to lead to a slight increase in printing volume in 2021 compared to last year. However, in the short term, the demand for printing equipment in offices will decrease slightly, since in 2020 the equipment was idle.

In 2021, the office printing market will see a transition to the A4 format and multifunctional devices

4. Good forecast for managed printing services

Returning to the office and continuing corporate printing from home will be a good sign for managed printing service providers. Judging by the concluded contracts, their revenue will grow by 20%, analysts say.

5. Transition to A4 format and multifunctional devices

Two major moves in the office printing market - to the A4 format and multifunctional devices - will accelerate as office technology is resumed. And this means more rejection of single-function printers and A3 copiers.

6. Software Becomes Critical

With the transition to multifunctional devices, the printing software component is becoming more important: customers want to print files from their phone, connect to cloud services from the printer and use advanced functionality to work with various documents. Suppliers can only obey the wishes of customers.

7. Cyber security

Analysts remind that companies with employees working at home necessarily need business-level services, including in the field of cybersecurity printers, which can become a vulnerability to hackers and risk the entire working system as a whole.

The transition of employees of many companies to remote work provoked an increase in demand for ink delivery services

8. Ink Delivery Services

With the transition to work from home, demand for ink delivery services like HP's Instant Ink has grown. The subscription service monitors printer usage and automatically delivers ink to your home. It is unlikely that employees will abandon such amenities when returning to offices, analysts say.

9. Adapting to New Conditions

Print solution providers who want to succeed in 2021 must adapt to the changes that have arisen in a pandemic. That means meeting the growing needs of both office and home users - such as having tools to remotely manage or at least diagnose problems, analysts said.

10. Printing is still an integral part of the business process

Despite the growing attention to digital technologies, paper documents are still of great importance, as evidenced by the demand for home printing during the pandemic. For many companies, printing is still an integral part of the business process, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.[2]

2020

Print Device Market Leaders

In 2020, 58.55 million inkjet printers were sold worldwide, which is 2.9% more than a year ago. Such data in August 2021 were released by the research company IDC.

Statistics provided by analysts indicate that almost the entire (99.8%) inkjet printer market is controlled by the four largest manufacturers: HP Inc., Canon, Epson and Brother Industries. At the end of 2020, the first of these vendors recorded 43.1% of equipment sales in physical terms, which is 1.9 percentage points more than a year earlier.

Canon's year-on-year share increased 0.9 percentage points to 27.5%. At Epson and Brother, presence rates decreased by 2% and 1% (to 25.7% and 3.5%), respectively.

2020 Inkjet Printer Market Leaders

The fact that the inkjet printer market did not fall amid the fall of the entire printing device industry is associated with the peculiarities of demand in the context of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Jet technology is most often purchased for home use. The tense epidemiological situation forced people to spend more time at home, including for work and study. This led to a rise in demand for home printing equipment.

The move to remote has spawned increased demand for laptops and mini PCs - equipment that can be used to work from home. Printing equipment is used for the most part for office work, so some customers postponed the purchase of equipment of this plan until the end of the pandemic. By the end of 2020, the printing equipment market began to come to life a little, and pent-up demand should help stimulate demand for printers and MFPs, including inkjet.

The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to pose problems for most suppliers with manufacturing sites in China, Indonesia, the Philippines and neighboring countries.

According to experts, the wholesale supply of computer equipment is an industry that has come under a double blow: in addition to the sudden quarantine and "coronacrisis" common to all problems, it experienced stress due to the difficulties of deliveries from China, which became the first focus of the pandemic. The collapse did not happen, but the situation required non-standard solutions from industry players.

Leaders of the entire print device market by the end of 2020

The unprecedented market situation caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has forced suppliers and consumers to urgently adapt to the suddenly changed living and working conditions. So, during 2021, there was a large-scale change in working conditions in almost all industries, associated with the sudden need to provide the majority of the working population with technical means for remote work. Thanks to the rapid solution of these problems, initiated by both corporate markets and consumers in retail, and, as a result, significantly increased demand for most segments of IT equipment - for example, the growth of the laptop market, the study says.

The IDC notes that in the second half of 2020, the availability of products by vendors continued to be affected by the insufficient availability of factory production capacity and/or the reduction of workers in factories in Asia due to the COVID-19 epidemic, additional problems with the availability of products were caused by a global shortage of shipping containers for transportation, which caused a significant excess of demand over supply, and a drop in supply indicators.

Two trends are noted within the inkjet segment: on the one hand, a decrease in the share of traditional cartridge printing, and on the other hand, there is a reverse trend associated with the growth of the segment of devices with a continuous ink supply system. The average purchase cost increases as printers and MFPs with continuous ink technologies are significantly more expensive than similar cartridge devices.[3]

Printing of documents decreased by 14% due to pandemic - IDC

In 2020, a total of 2.8 trillion pages were printed around the world with the help of printers and MFPs, which is 14% less than a year earlier. Such data in early August 2021 were published by IDC analysts.

According to them, in previous years the volume of the market under consideration also decreased, but not so sharply, but "stable." The strengthening of negative dynamics in 2020 was the result of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, due to which a large number of companies switched to remote work, as a result of which the printing of documents was reduced in offices.

IDC: Printing of documents decreased by 14% at the end of 2020 due to the pandemic

In addition, the pandemic has led to diverse dynamics in the segments of inkjet and laser technology. Laser MFPs and printers are most widely represented in the corporate sector, therefore, page printing using this equipment on a global scale by the end of 2020 decreased by 16% compared to 2019.

At the same time, the volume of inkjet printing, which is most often purchased for home use, increased by 4% in 2020. In the conditions of quarantine and other restrictions imposed due to the spread of coronavirus infection, people began to work and study more often at home and, as a result, print more on personal printers and MFPs.

Forecast for Global Printing of Pages on Laser and Inkjet Printers and MFPs, IDC Data

The study notes that the segment of A3-format devices, which are ten times less likely to be used at home even in comparison with A4-format laser printers, suffered the most in 2020.

About half of the pages printed by company employees while working from home came from working documentation, according to an IDC survey.

Analysts believe that printing equipment will be used less and less, and it's not just about the transition of companies to remote work. Another reason is the global digitalization of document management.[4]

12.3% market decline - IDC

Global Printing Device Market Size (Printers, Multifunctional Devices, and Copying Equipment; consider devices of A2, A3 and A4 format, used mainly for printing documents) in 2020 increased by 0.4% in physical terms. However, in terms of money, sales of this equipment decreased by 12.3%. Such data are provided in the research company IDC.

According to analysts, the growth of the printing device market in pieces provided the second half of the year, during which there was strong demand for products after a strong decline in the first half of the year caused by the massive closure of offices due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Experts attribute the reduction in sales in dollars to a decrease in the supply of high-performance office equipment for printing documents.

Global Printed Peripheral Market: Supply Volume, Largest Suppliers, Growth (Q4 2019-2020, IDC Data)

IDC statistics broken down by region showed supply growth in six of the nine regional markets tracked by analysts. The most pronounced rise was observed in China, where shipments of printing equipment increased by 18.4%.

Inexpensive inkjet and monochrome laser printers and MFPs are still in high demand around the world, the study notes. By the end of 2020, such models were offered in abundance on the market at competitive prices.

Major manufacturers of printing devices (IDC data)

Analysts also pointed to a rise in sales of both inkjet and laser printing devices - by 7.9% and 3.7%, respectively. In the laser segment, the rise was provided by inexpensive monochrome laser printers and MFPs of A4 format, the demand for which was facilitated by the needs of users related to telecommuting and training amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The balance of power among the largest manufacturers of printing devices is given only in the fourth quarter. According to IDC, HP Inc. not only retained leadership, but also strengthened it due to almost 14 percent growth in equipment supplies and much worse dynamics among competitors.[5]

2018: 1.1% market drop to 99m

On February 21, 2019, the analytical company International Data Corporation (IDC) summed up the results of the global printing equipment market. In 2018, manufacturers produced a total of 99 million printers, MFPs and copiers, which is 1.1% less than the previous year. In 2017, the market grew, albeit slightly - by less than 1%.

HP Inc. remained the leader in the global market for printing devices, which in 2018 increased equipment supplies by 1.9%. Only Kyocera showed higher dynamics in the leading group, in which deliveries increased by 3.2%. The rest of the vendors from the top 5 ended 2018 with falling sales. More details on the balance of power among manufacturers of printing devices can be found in the table below.

A sample from the study published on the IDC website does not contain detailed information about the market situation. Analysts only note that sales of color laser MFPs of any performance are growing in the American market, except for devices that process documents at speeds from 1 to 20 pages per minute. In the 21 to 90 page per minute product segment, Canon saw the greatest growth.

It is also indicated that the supply of inkjet printers and MFPs in the Asia-Pacific region increased 12 consecutive quarters. Moreover, this region remained the only one with positive dynamics.

In Latin America, researchers noted growing shipments of equipment with a Continuous Ink Supply (CHHR) system. Growth was seen in the third and fourth quarters of 2018. The demand for the CHHR device exceeds the sales of ink cartridge equipment in the region.[6]

According to IDC, the volume of the Russian printing device market in 2018 reached $630 million, an increase of 6.5% compared to 2017. Quantitative supplies of equipment during this time rose by 9%, to 2.6 million units.

2017: A return to growth

On February 21, 2018, the analytical company IDC published a report on the situation on the global market of printing equipment (hardcopy peripherals, HCP), which reported on the positive dynamics in 2017. According to experts, the supply of printers, MFPs and digital copying devices increased by 0.9%, reaching almost 100 million units. In 2016, the market fell 4.1%.

Analyzing market trends, experts noted an increase in shipments at the end of the year in the inkjet printer segment due to rising demand in Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan.

As for the balance of power between vendors, the market leader in 2017 was HP Inc., which supplied over 39 million printing devices. Despite zero growth in shipments compared to 2016, HP's market share was almost unchanged and remained at more than 39%.

Shipments of printing devices rose 0.9% in 2017, IDC data

The next three vendors from the top 5 - Canon, Epson and Brother (Brother) - ended 2017 on a positive note, with annual shipments growing by 1.3%, 4.6% and 3.6%, respectively.

The Japanese company Canon, which produced more than 20.8 million HCP devices, controlled 20.9% of the market against 20.8% in 2016. Her compatriot and competitor Epson finished third with a score of 18.26 million, which corresponds to a market share of 18.3%. Compared to the previous indicator, the degree of presence of the vendor increased by 0.7 percentage points. Brother, with shipments of 7.52 million units, ranked fourth. Its market share in IDC was estimated at 7.5% versus 7.3% in 2016.

The only brand in the top five with negative dynamics was Xerox. Deliveries of Xerox printing equipment in 2017 decreased by 6.7%, to 2.3 million devices, and the indicator of market presence decreased from 2.5% to 2.3%.[7]

2016

Sales growth of widescreen printers by 4.5% to $3.88 billion

In 2016, global sales of large format printers (LFPs) increased by 4.5%. HP Inc remains the market leader, according to a study by International Data Corporation (IDC).

The total revenue of manufacturers from the supply of LFP equipment on a global scale in 2016 reached $3.88 billion against $3.71 billion in 2015.

Supplies of ultraviolet plotters increased by 15%, sublimation printers - by 13%.

List of the largest manufacturers of printers for widescreen printing, IDC data

HP Inc remains the largest manufacturer of widescreen printers . In 2016, the American company increased the sale of equipment by 10.5%, and the share increased from 23.8% to 25.1%.

In second place with a large lag behind the first is Canon, which has a 12 percent market share. The company's revenue in the market in question fell 7%.

Epson closes the top three vendors. The company completed 2016 with a share of 7.1%. Shipments of Epson LFP equipment in monetary terms increased by 6.4% due to high sales of devices for inkjet sublimation printing and updating the line of eco-voltage printers. At the same time, Epson continues to record a decline in the segment of inexpensive inkjet printers with water-based ink.

The top five vendors in the LFP market also include Mimaki and Roland, whose market shares in 2016 were equal to 5.6% and 5.3%, respectively.[8]

Printing Devices and Mobile Employees

According to a report by IDC analysts, by 2018, three-quarters of employees of Western European companies will be mobile, and they will need the ability to quickly and securely access information with the ability to process it to maintain and increase their productivity.

When considering the changing business environment, the IDC report states that smart multifunctional devices (MFPs) should provide the ability to digitize documents and protect confidential company data from any threats or viruses, allowing secure printing from mobile devices.

To manage the dynamic growth of mobility, companies should monitor employees on their own mobile devices (as part of the BYOD concept) and on corporate laptops, tablets or smartphones. Organizations must protect intellectual property while providing workers with continuous access to data from anywhere to meet their needs with mobile printing applications and customizable data access.

A 2013 IDC survey of market trends in the use of printing services in Europe found that a third of companies allowed employees to use personal smartphones, laptops and tablets. IDC interviewed employees of small and medium-sized businesses how effectively they have built business processes. The study showed that many organizations need to improve processes, and, in addition, employee mobility requires the spread of electronic document management.

In support of the role of smart MFPs in the modern business environment, the IDC report notes that the scope of smart devices is expanding to the level of customizable digital tools. MFPs can serve as a platform for development, save time and money and achieve the commercial goals of companies. Already today, smart multifunctional devices can ensure security and compliance with standards in the company, while supporting mobility and cost reduction measures. "

2012

Supplier Strategies 2012

Although basic printing technology is not changing, in 2012 there will be many new technologies on the market. The trend towards mobility and the use of Cloud computing in the IT market has become widespread: it concerns not only corporate and user software, but also the printer market.

Mobile printing at the consumer level began with telephone applications that allow you to send photos directly to the nearest printer via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Those simple utilities still exist, but a year ago Apple, Google, HP, Lexmark International began further developing this model.

The AirPrint service Apple allows you to use Wi-Fi to send a wide range of print jobs directly from devices to IOS print on an AirPrint-compatible printer. Initially, these printers were limited to a handful of HP models, but their growing list today also includes printers from Brother,,, and Canon (Canon Roux). Epson Eastman Kodak Lexmark International

HP

At the end of 2010, HP introduced web applications for printing everything from a card to a movie ticket. She also launched a consumer version of ePrint, which allows you to email a print job from anywhere to an HP ePrint joint printer.

2012 will bring more and more applications and compatible printers. In addition, HP has created a simplified printing process with ePrint, making it a little more user-friendly and resolving some of the difficulties associated with printing from certain phones or platforms.

Lexmark

Around the same time, the company's SmartSolutions Lexmark International (a growing collection of performance applications available with certain Lexmark small office printers) was augmented with a program that can display news feed RSS and color printer LCD weather forecast. Since then, SmartSolutions has introduced programs to access a number of popular online services, from Facebook and to Twitter Box.net and. Evernote In addition, Lexmark recently launched mobile printing apps for,,, and Android Apple IOS Google Docs Google Cloud Print app.

Canon

In the fall of 2011, Canon (Canon Ru) included two printers (Pixma MG6220 and Pixma MG8220) with a number of advanced mobile printing capabilities. It is Easy-PhotoPrint's mobile app for printing photos with compatible smarttons and tablets on Android and Apple, as well as Pixma Cloud Link for printing Google Docs and Gmail attachments directly from mobile devices. Registered Canon users from Picasa Web Albums have access to photo albums and print templates for stationery, calendars and more.

Another new Canon (Canon Roux) model, the Pixma MG4120, is partially compatible with Pixma Cloud Link - but only due to its photo-oriented capabilities, and not with broader document printing features.

Epson

Epson has assembled its new mobile and cloud printing services under a single Epson Connect brand. They allow you to send email messages from your mobile device to a compatible Epson printer. Epson iPrint allows direct printing via Wi-Fi from compatible iOS and Android devices. Several new Epson printers are also equipped with Cloud Ready.

Kodak

Eastman Kodak is also developing mobile and cloud printing with enthusiasm. Most of its new Cloud Ready models, and all printers can work with e-mail and print jobs as attachments. Kodak is also trying to replay HP ePrint by taking large email messages and email attachments to print.

Google

Google Cloud Print app, available in beta, lets you print via email on any printer connected to a computer that has access to the Internet. The service works on Epson, HP, Kodak devices that can do all the work without an intermediary computer (although they still need an Internet connection).

2011

Western Europe Market

According to the latest IDC survey, shipments in the Western European print market declined 2.6% to 8.1 million units in 2011. However, despite this, the market growth forecast remains optimistic, although opportunities for suppliers remain limited. Prices for devices continue to fall amid intense competition, which led to a 10.7% decrease in supplier revenue to $3.3 billion from $3.8 billion in 2010.

Arnaud Gagneux, director of the Western European division of IDC, believes that 2012 "will be a key year for manufacturers and their partners." "In the current economic climate for consumers, home printing is becoming irrelevant and businesses need to be confident that they can take advantage of all the new capabilities of the latest MFP and Printer models. Trying to reduce business costs and increase efficiency, enterprises digitize documents and streamline processes, "he said.

Phil Sargeant, an analyst at IDC, noted that demand for printing devices in the business environment remains strong: so the supply of combined inkjet and laser devices increased by 3.1%. In line with modern market trends, color devices showed a steady growth of 8.4%, and monochrome sales - decreased by 6.4%. This led to a 2.1% overall decline in the laser printing market. Monochrome devices remain twice as many as color devices, but the gap between them narrows. In addition, pressure begins from jet business products in the medium and small business sector.

The bright trends in 2011 were: continued growth in the inkjet printer segment (32.4%), growth in the number of installed color devices (8.4%), as well as growing demand for high-speed inkjet devices (13.6%).

Among the disappointments of 2011, IDC experts attributed the decline in the inkjet device market by 5.1% during the busy New Year sales period, as well as a 12.0% decline in the monochrome printer segment in Q4 2011, which is traditionally strong for monochrome devices.

In 2011, the German printing device market declined by 8.0% to 1.86 million units, mainly due to a decrease in the consumer inkjet market by more than 14.4%. Conversely, inkjet printers in the corporate market showed impressive growth of 22.3%. At the same time, the laser market as a whole seems more resilient compared to consumer markets. The end of the year for the local printing equipment market ended in disappointment.

The markets of these countries performed well in 2011. Although they lag behind Germnaia in volume, but still remain the second largest market - it accounts for 19% of supplies, the growth rate for the year was 1.5% to 1.57 million units. Positive factors were an increase in the supply of inkjet devices by 57.5%, while the market for consumer inkjet printers increased slightly by 1.4%. Overall, market growth across the UK stopped as a result of lower sales of monochrome printers and multifunctional devices. The UK and Northern Ireland posted a 3.8% overall growth in the printing devices market in 2011.

Among the three largest European markets of printed devices, France showed maximum results: the volume of the local market in unit terms in 2011 increased by 10.1% to 1.39 million units. It is the only major market in Western Europe to show growth in the inkjet, color and monochrome laser device segments. Inkjet printer sales in the corporate market increased by 48.3%, while the consumer inkjet device market posted double-digit growth of 10.1%. Total shipments of laser devices increased by 6.0%, while monochrome printers still account for almost half of all laser shipments. France showed an increase of 1.6% for the full year 2011.

2010

According to IDC research, the global volume of pages processed by digital printers reached 3.1 trillion in 2010. Moreover, developing regions are ahead in terms of growth rates, increasing this figure by 7.3% compared to 2009.

Players in the markets of developed countries are losing ground, reducing the volume of printed pages by 1.3% on an annualized basis. Latin America, Central and Eastern markets Europe have double-digit growth ratios, so as part of the study, they are combined into a common geographical sector with an increase of 1.4%.

MFPs rule the market

In 2010, users continued to pay tribute to the convenience and functionality of peripheral MFPs, this allowed to increase the penetration of MFPs in the printing market. The number of single-function printers and digital copiers decreased in terms of sales. At the same time, MFP sales growth had regional differences: in developing regions it was double-digit, and in developed regions it was only unambiguous.

The growth in MFP sales volumes remains unchanged. In the laser market, MFPs remain the leaders in terms of sales, but the gap with printers is still fixed. The laser printer market generated a stable 1.1 trillion pages in 2010, up 1.6% from the previous year. In the inkjet segment, MFPs dominate in terms of print page volume.

Color laser printers continue to be actively sold in all regions. Emerging regions show a healthy appetite for color laser printers and MFPs with double-digit sales growth across the market spectrum. In contrast, in developed regions, sales of color laser MFPs are growing by 15.5%, while color laser printers show only 0.6% growth. Color remains the leading criterion for manufacturers in developed countries. With a difference of 85% worldwide, color printers take over monochrome printers.

Growth in sales of color laser printers was recorded in developing and developed regions with overall growth in sales volume. The global color laser device market grew 11% for the year.

A3 laser devices accounted for 49% of total sales, despite making up only 14% of the global installation base. A4 devices outperform them in print speed, so suppliers of copiers based on the A3 format need to take this call. A4 devices continue to strengthen their positions, demand for them is growing.

Laser printers continue the transition to higher printing speeds in both monochrome and color. This trend is most strongly visible in developed regions. One example: sales of monochrome laser printers in developed regions rose to 575 billion from 565 billion despite a 3.3% decrease in the installation base.

Although inkjet printers make up 64% of the global installation base, the total share of their sales decreased by 1.4% over the year. Despite this, in developing regions, an increase of 1.5% was recorded, from 109 million to 111 million in page terms.

ADR retains leadership

As for the share of vendors, HP retained the first place in the world market in 2010. Canon (Canon Roux) and Xerox took numbers two and three in the world sales ranking, respectively.

2009

Q1 2009

Manufacturers of printing devices suffered greatly due to the economic crisis of 2008. NR remained the leader in sales of Printers and Multifunctional Devices (MFPs), but the sales level still fell by 11%. Lexmark International suffered the most. A year ago, an American company decided to switch to more productive and expensive devices. However, the crisis prevented her from selling enough new devices to make production cost-effective.

According to the results of the 1st quarter of 2009, Hewlett-Packard became the largest manufacturer of MFPs with a market share of slightly more than 19% (541 thousand devices sold). The company is leading the market for the ninth consecutive quarter. The second and third places in the global multifunctional device market were taken by Samsung and Brother (Brother) with shares of 16.4% and 13.5%, respectively.
