Runet Prize
The Runet Prize is a Russian nationwide award in the field of high technologies and the Internet, which encourages outstanding services of leading companies in the field of information technology and electronic communications, state and public organizations, business structures, as well as individual figures who have made a significant contribution to the development of the Russian segment of the Internet (Runet).

Award organizers
The organizer of the award is the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC) with financial support from the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.
The co-organizer is the Coordination Center for the National Domain of the Internet.
The strategic partner is Rostelecom.
2022 Laureates
Five Moscow digital projects were awarded the Runet Prize. It is awarded for a significant contribution to the development of the Russian segment of the World Wide Web. As Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, said, the awards were awarded to the city consumer portal, an online resource to support local brands "Made in Moscow," a travel show of the travel platform Russpass, the service "Student Portfolio" in the "Moscow Electronic School" ("MES") and the program "Moscow: immersion" of the site "Learn Moscow." VIII: 2011 Laureates
On November 25, 2011, the VIII Solemn Ceremony of the Runet Prize 2011 was held in Moscow at the Pushkin Cinema. Famous Russian television and radio hosts Ilya Savelyev and Aleksei Polyakov became the hosts of the ceremony.
As part of the official opening of the Ceremony, Igor Shchegolev, Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, addressed the participants. He noted that Runet is rapidly developing - in the fall, Russia came out on top in Europe in terms of the number of Internet users, about a million domains were registered in the.RF zone over the year, the volume of Internet advertising for the first time outstripped the print media. "Of course, we are still far from solving all issues, but I hope that the high pace taken this year will continue," the minister summed up. After the official opening procedure, the presenters switched to announcing the Prize winners - projects and organizations that made the most significant contribution to the development of the Russian segment of the Internet in 2011.
By tradition, the first winners were named in the nomination "State and Society." From the hands of Igor Shchegolev, the award was received by:

A special award was also presented to Rostelecom for the Public services project: Sergei Zheleznyak, head of the State Duma Committee on Informatization, solemnly presented it to Alexei Nashchekin, Vice President for Innovative Development of Rostelecom.
The winners in the special nomination "Safe Runet," established by the Safe Internet League, were:

The SportBox project was awarded a special "sports" nomination by Rostelecom.
During the Ceremony, the All-Russian online action "People's Vote of the Runet Prize - 2011" was officially stopped. The title of "People's Leader" was shared by two projects: Legend: Dragon Heritage and World of Tanks
During the campaign, more than 4,500,000 users voted for various projects, while giving more than 7,000,000 votes. At the end of voting on November 25, 2011, the Legend: Dragon Heritage project took the lead in voting with 2,450,000 votes.

The VIII Award Ceremony set a kind of record: a total of 35 statuettes were awarded in various nominations. According to the Organizing Committee of the Prize, this fact indicates that Runet is growing and developing for the better every year.
Those who could not get to the landmark event of the Internet industry watched what was happening live on the Russia 24 TV channel. The online broadcast from the press zone was carried out by COMDI. The Runet Prize website was visited by 141,574 people on November 25, 2011.
The innovation of 2011 was concert and entertainment numbers, close in spirit to the runettes, who were specially invited to the ceremony. Vasya Oblomov, the man who blew up Runet with the song "Going to Magadan," a special edition of the + 100500 project and the Underwood group, performed on stage.
