2024: IT Training Program Development

The system integrator and software developer "1551" (part of the PEC group of companies) has developed a training program that allows senior students and young specialists to acquire practical skills in creating services and interfaces, as well as skills in developing and maintaining software.

Training of IT specialists takes place at the site in the Moscow region. The company teaches senior university students practical skills in analytics, development and maintenance of digital services during the internship process. After graduation, the system developer offers graduates who have successfully passed the test period further employment.

According to Alexander Mayer, Director of Information Technology at 1551, the shortage of IT personnel in Russia persists, most of all there are not enough software developers, big data analysts, as well as specialists in machine learning and artificial intelligence. To speed up their training, it is important, in parallel with training, to develop the knowledge of future specialists in practice.

Governments of the Moscow region In addition, thanks to this, "1551" expanded its staff financially and supported 20% of its employees, - said Alexander Mayer.

Grant support will allow "1551" in 2024 to expand the program of practical training of novice specialists, as well as attract even more experienced employees. Due to this, the system integrator plans to accelerate the automation of the logistics of the multi-service logistics operator PEC and its partners.

At the end of 2023, 17 companies took advantage of financial support measures for the IT industry in the Moscow region. It is important that subsidies help them not only develop at an accelerated pace, purchase new equipment, but also create new jobs in the region. Thanks to financial support in 2023, more than 2.3 thousand new specialists in the field of information technology began to work in the Moscow region.
