2020: Creation of a company

June 22, 2020 it became known about the creation of a joint venture between R-Farm and Canon Medical Systems. It will supply and maintain Canon diagnostic medical equipment in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The new company was called "ArP Canon Medical Systems" (RP Canon Medical Systems). Its initial capital amounted to 1.2 billion yen (800 million rubles). P-Farm and Canon Medical Systems received equal shares in this joint venture.

The implementation of the project will allow uninterrupted provision of the domestic health system with the most advanced medical equipment, including within the framework of the national project "Healthcare," as well as identify many dangerous diseases at an early stage and seriously reduce the mortality rate, the words of the chairman of the board of directors of R-Pharm Alexei Repik are quoted in the message.

He called the creation of the joint venture,  which will deal with the sale and maintenance of the entire line of modern diagnostic equipment Canon Medical Systems, a landmark event.

The company agreed on cooperation on June 29, 2019 as part of the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan. The agreement includes plans for cooperation in the field of sales and service services of medical equipment, as well as localization of its production.
