Administration of the Head of the Republic of Karelia

The administration of the Head of the Republic of Karelia is the executive authority of the Republic of Karelia, providing the activities of the Head of the Republic of Karelia and the Government of the Republic of Karelia, carrying out:

• functions for legal support of the activities of the Head of the Republic of Karelia and the Government of the Republic of Karelia, coordination of rule-making (including legislative) activities of executive bodies of the Republic of Karelia;
• functions in the field of supporting the media, the founders of which are the state authorities of the Republic of Karelia, with the exception of periodicals in national languages;
• functions of the state body of the Republic of Karelia to manage the state civil service of the Republic of Karelia in the system of executive bodies of the Republic of Karelia, to prevent corruption and other offenses;
• functions in the field of informatization and information protection in the territory of the Republic of Karelia, as well as on the implementation of state policy in this area;
• functions in the field of providing citizens with free legal assistance in the Republic of Karelia;
• functions for the development of state policy and legal regulation in the established areas of activity under the jurisdiction of the Administration of executive authorities of the Republic of Karelia, as well as coordination and control of their activities.
