2024: Transport of the Future bought Agrimax.Aero
On June 20, 2024, Transport of the Future announced the complete consolidation of the ownership of Agrimax.Aero LLC, having bought a minority stake from the founder of the company, Maxim Chizhov. This solution is aimed at attracting additional investments and new partners to scale the business associated with the use of unmanned aircraft systems (ALS) in more than 40 regions of Russia and the creation of a network of Drone-Service centers.
According to the general director of Transport of the Future Yuri Kozarenko, the consolidation of assets is part of the strategy for vertical integration of segments - from the design of ALS to the provision of services using them. He noted: "We are grateful to Maxim Sergeevich for the work done to create Agrimax.Aero and plan to continue cooperation by concluding an agreement on strategic consulting."
Maxim Chizhov, commenting on the sale of his share, stressed that the deal will allow him to pay more attention to the tasks of popularizing the use of unmanned robotics and eliminating barriers limiting the growth of the use of ALS. He also plans to engage more actively with a wide range of investors to support the development of the industry.
Agrimax.Aero entered the market in the spring of 2022 and has since been actively promoting the use of drones in agriculture. The company participated in the development of regulatory documents aimed at eliminating barriers to the rapid development of the industry, and in the development of the Strategy for the Development of Unmanned Aircraft until 2030. The company is also actively involved in the National Project for the Development of ALS.
According to the company, consolidation with Transport of the Future will significantly increase the scale of its activities and strengthen its market position. The main emphasis will be on the development of innovative technologies and the expansion of the range of services offered.
The deal also provides for the conclusion of a strategic consulting agreement with Maxim Chizhov, which will allow the company to maintain continuity in management and continue successful development. Experts appreciate the potential of this consolidation and expect a significant increase in the efficiency and competitiveness of the combined structure.[1]
