On January 29, 2015 the Teradata corporation, the developer of the analytical systems and marketing applications for Big Data, announced purchase of Appoxee company, software supplier for the mobile marketing working according to the SaaS model. Entry of Appoxee into structure of Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud supplements the strategy of Teradata on creation of the advanced industry marketing solutions which help the information-oriented companies to create individual offers and communications for the clients based on that type of interaction with a brand which they prefer and expect.
The transaction on acquisition was closed on December 17, 2014. As conditions of acquisition have no essential value for Teradata, they are not disclosed. Solutions of Appoxee will be quickly integrated in Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud and also their integration into Teradata Digital Marketing Center will begin.
Appoxee will accelerate development of marketing applications of Teradata in the field of digital marketing at the expense of a wide range of possibilities in the mobile sphere which will add the available strengths of Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud, especially in multi-channel marketing and communication with clients in real time. Now clients of Teradata Digital Marketing Center will be able to use single solution for management of communications with clients based on e-mail, home pages, the SMS, social networks and push-notifications on mobile devices. Along with analytics for mobile marketing, Teradata will offer extensive opportunities for management of multichannel marketing campaigns and the automated decision making in real time. It is in the future going to carry out integration with Teradata Customer Interaction Manager and Teradata Real-Time Interaction Manager.
