2020: Completion of formation of a complex of the plants on processing of electronic waste

On June 30, 2020 the corporation announced the Ecopolice completion of formation in Russia of a complex of the plants on processing of electronic waste. On NPO Aurus LLC, in workshops of production of non-ferrous and precious metals, balancing and commissioning begins.

NPO Aurus LLC

NPO Aurus LLC represents the enterprise for processing of copper scrap and printed circuit boards with effectiveness of extraction of useful fractions to 99% of the arriving raw materials. The plant is a part of a complex of the enterprises for second-hand ecological processing of the electronic and electrotechnical equipment which is under control of Corporation the Ecopolice. Two other plants – Ekotekhprom on processing of the fulfilled electronic and electrical equipment with a performance up to 75000 tons/year and "Ekoplast" on processing of case plastics with a performance up to 25000 tons/year – are in Moscow.

NPO Aurus LLC

The Aurus plant is a link of the overworking chain of Corporation the Ecopolice. Here secondary resources are taken and made: copper cathode, non-ferrous and precious metals. Capacities of plant allow to process up to 12,000 tons of a mix of scrap of printed circuit boards a year. At the enterprise the equipment of the European producers is used, pyrometallurgical processing of polymetallic raw materials with an organic chemistry fence to 40% and electrolytic refinement in electrolysis bathtubs is performed. Besides, the Aurus plant is equipped with an end-to-end system of purification of gases that allows to perform complete processing of printed circuit boards which are the main toxic part of electronic waste, without making at the same time negative impact on the environment.

"The Aurus plant will become the enterprise for deep study of scrap of printed circuit boards and extraction from it precious metals. For June, 2020 the most part of payments gets for processing abroad or to representatives of the gray market. The capital outflow from the country results and tax revenues in the budget decrease. Capacities of plant Aurus will be able to provide processing of all waste of the printed circuit boards formed in the territory of Russia and by that to save valuable secondary resources for economy of our country", Maxim Lobanov, the CEO of Corporation noted the Ecopolice

NPO Aurus LLC is a resident of TOSER Mtsensk. According to the deputy governor and the Prime Minister of the Oryol region on planning, economy and finance Vadim Tarasov, implementation of the investment project in the territory of the advancing social and economic development Mtsensk will allow to provide balance of interests of inhabitants of the region and entrepreneurial community. The NPO Aurus company can use a large number of preferential conditions. On the other hand, the plant assumes a part of social responsibility, including work market development Orlovsky of area. The company plans creation not less than 360 jobs. In general project implementation will allow to diversify city economy of Mtsensk, to leave step by step from monodependence and to provide fullness of the regional taxation system.

Input of the enterprise in operation is planned for the fourth quarter 2020. The general contractor of the project – JSC UKSH.
