The BBDO Russia group is included into advertizing and communication holding Omnicom Group and into the structure of world network BBDO Worldwide. An abbreviation of "BBDO" are initials of founders of the agency Betten, Barton, Derstayn and Osborne who opened the first office in 1891.

For 2010 BBDO Worldwide is provided by 287 companies in 79 countries of the world.

2017: New creative agency Bootleg

As a part of BBDO Group the new creative agency appeared: Bootleg.

2016: New agencies: HealthWork Russia, Media Direction Sport and Media Direction Programmatic

As a part of BBDO Group three new agencies appeared: HealthWork Russia, Media Direction Sport and Media Direction Programmatic.

2014: The TMA, MORE and Media Wise agencies are created

In 2014 as a part of BBDO Group there was a new agency TMA which specializes in work with stars.

As a part of BBDO Group two new agencies appeared: creative agency MORE and media Media Wise.

2013: The associated partners of Synergy Media, Euro Publicity, Pitch, Buying Partner

The agencies Synergy Media, Euro Publicity, Pitch, Buying Partner joined BBDO Group as the associated partners.

2011: The Pelican event-agency is open

The new advertizing agency Pelican which specializes in the field of event-marketing is opened.

2010: Digital BBDO formation, start of the Contrapunto agency

In 2010 based on BBDO Interactive and digital-division of Code of Trade the Digital BBDO agency is formed.

The third creative agency Contrapunto is opened.

2008: Opening of BBDO Central Asia, BBDO Kiev and Fuse BBDO agency

In 2008 the agency in Kazakhstan – BBDO Central Asia and in Ukraine – BBDO Kiev is open.

As a part of group there was a new company – the Fuse BBDO agency specializing in sponsorship and communication solutions in show business and sport.

2006: Start of BBDO Branding, BrandScience and Pleon companies

In 2006 as a part of group three new companies appeared: BBDO Branding, BrandScience and Pleon (after Mint).

Based on the Media Wise agency the mediaplenningovy agency PHD which is included into the large international network of the same name is started.

The staff of BBDO Group totals more than 500 people.

2005: The baingovy agency Code of Trade is created

In 2005 the baingovy agency Code of Trade is created.

2004: Selection of BBDO Interactive in independent division

In 2004 BBDO Interactive is selected in the independent division which is engaged in online projects.

2003: BBDO Group formation

In 2003 the formation of BBDO Group which part were was completed:

  • two creative agencies (BBDO Moscow and Instinct),
  • two media agencies (OMD Media Direction and Media Wise) and
  • the agency of the integrated marketing solutions Proximity Russia.

2000: Start of the Proximity Russia agency

For 2000 as a part of group Proximity Russia appears.

Staff of BBDO Moscow already more than 100 people.

1999: Creation of a uniform back office

In 1999 BBDO Group of the first in the market creates uniform back office that allows to manage more effectively and rationally all companies and to coordinate work of all offices.

1997: Opening of the OMD Media Direction agency

In 1997 in Moscow the office of the media agency OMD Media Direction is opened.

1992: Production of rollers for state privatization

In 1992 BBDO Moscow develops and makes the first advertizing filmlets within the state program of privatization.

1989: Creation of the BBDO Moscow agency for service of Pepsi Cola

In 1989 the BBDO Moscow agency is founded (staff – 5 people). The company was created for the advertizing service of Pepsi Cola, the first western brand not only in large quantities provided in the Soviet Union, but also which is made in its territory.

Awards
