The company produces WonderLab's biomicrogel-based household chemicals. Under the WonderLab brand, more than 50 types of detergents and cleaning products are presented on the Russian market.

History

2024: Voskhod Foundation invested ₽400 million in Biomicrogels Group

According to RBC, since October 28, 2024, Voskhod structures have owned 18.47% of the shares of GK Biomicrogeli LLC. Ruslan Sarkisov, Managing Partner of the Voskhod Fund, announced a significant potential for growth of the group's business both in the retail b2c segment and in the segment of industrial technologies with high export potential.

Biomicrogeli Group of Companies is engaged in the development of technologies and products based on plant raw materials. The company produces household detergents and cosmetics under the WONDER LAB brand, as well as industrial reagents for cleaning water, hard surfaces and extracting oils. The Group continues to develop both lines of business: the production of consumer goods and industrial solutions, strengthening its position in the Russian market of household chemicals and industrial technologies.

According to the publication, the Voskhod venture fund is focused on the development of high-tech companies for industrial purposes. The fund specializes in investments in Russian deeptech projects and supports early stage initiatives in the Far East.[1]

2021: Attracting 1 billion rubles of investments

On April 19, 2021, it became known about attracting 1 billion rubles of investments by Biomicrogel. Zoom Capital has invested in the manufacturer of eco-friendly cleaning products. The company intends to use the funds received to strengthen its position in the global market.

Biomicrogel-based detergents under the Wonder Lab brand are sold in Auchan, Perekrestok, Lenta, Vernom and on the online platforms Ozon, Wildberries, Utkonos and Scooter. By the fall of 2021, the company's products should appear in Europe and China.

Russian developer of environmentally friendly household chemicals "Biomicrogel" raised 1 billion rubles for global expansion

According to Zoom Capital owner Gregory Berenstein, the future of household chemicals and the industrial industry is in modern biodegradable and sustainable products. He estimated the market for home care products at $170 billion, the market for the production of vegetable oils at $230 billion, and the market for water used for industrial needs at $16.5 billion.

Andrey Elagin considers the main source of business growth to be the areas of water treatment that is used in oil production, as well as an increase in the efficiency of vegetable oil production. Also, Biomicrogels intend to sell their eco-friendly household chemicals under the Wonder Lab brand in Europe and China.

By April 2021, the company is participating in a competition to serve the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp in the Netherlands, and is also introducing biomicrogels to factories in Indonesia and Malaysia to extract palm oil more efficiently.[2]
