2025: Yadro bought KB Borey LLC

Equipment manufacturer KNS IT Group LLC (brand) Yadro acquired 38% of KB Borey LLC, which specializes in the development of cooling systems for data centers (). DPC The transaction was registered on January 31, 2025 as part of the launch of a new Yadro business area to create products for the engineering infrastructure of the data center. The remaining shares of the company were retained by the co-founders - Director of Business Development at KB Borey Ratmir Troshin with 47% and Anatoly Ferentsev with 15%. Ratmir Troshin will be responsible for the development of the new strategic direction of Yadro.

According to the Yadro press service, the company is expanding its presence in the data center engineering infrastructure segment, which is a key area to ensure uninterrupted operation of server equipment. Due to the growing needs of modern computing systems, including in the field of artificial intelligence, constant improvement of cooling technologies is required, ranging from chips to complex solutions for data centers.

LLC "KB Borey," registered in 2016, concentrated its research and production facilities in Moscow. The company is engaged in the design, production, sale and maintenance of climate equipment for data centers. During this time, the organization patented the technology of air distribution in telecommunications cabinets, and also developed an air recuperator system for friculation in a mini-data center of street execution. In 2025, KB Borey plans to obtain three new patents for solutions for modular container-type data centers.

Yadro Product Director Pavel Egorov stressed that an integrated approach to cooling tasks is an important component of the effective operation of data centers. He noted that innovative solutions are necessary not only for already operating facilities, but also for new domestic data centers, taking into account developing technologies. Combining the experience of Yadro and KB Borey will allow you to offer customers better climate systems.
