2026: Rostec exit of their project
In January 2026, it became known that Rostec Corporation finally withdrew from a joint project with Tashir Medica holding to create a federal operator of clinical laboratories. The corresponding transaction for the transfer of a 10% stake was completed at the end of 2025.
According to Kommersant, the structure of Rostec - RT-Business Development - was transferred to Tashir Medica by its shares of the Centralized Diagnostic Systems (CDS) operator. As a result, Tashir Medica became the sole owner of the CDS.
The project to create a network of centralized clinical diagnostic laboratories in Russia was announced in 2021. The goal was to consolidate laboratory research in several regions and create a network of medical centers on this basis over a five-year period.
As follows from the data of the SPARK system, in 2022-2023, two regional subsidiaries were created as part of the initiative - in Samara and Yekaterinburg. The subsidiary in Samara stopped working in 2024, and a similar enterprise in Yekaterinburg retains its activities as of January 2026.
Alexander Zaytsev, CEO of Atomic Capital investment company, noted that the consolidation of the asset will allow Tashir Medica to integrate it into its existing medical ecosystem. The holding owns the pathomorphological laboratory Unium, the distributor of diagnostic equipment Galen and the IT company Netrika Medicine. Alexander Zaytsev believes that full control over the CDS will strengthen the diagnostic direction of the group's business.
The state procurement registers record three CDS contracts from 2021 with the city clinical hospital in Astrakhan, the total amount of which is about 55 million rubles. The project failed to reach the federal level. According to Alexander Zaitsev, the reason was the unrealizability of the original business model.[1]
