In May, 2018 Red Hatanonsirovala the first steps on integration of products Tectonic, Quay and Container Linux, the developed CoreOS, in structure of a solution portfolio of Red Hat. Platforms of container applications, such as Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, offer IT heads the powerful, constructed on the basis of open standards solutions for digital transformation and the accelerated implementation of relevant technologies (for example, Linux containers and Kubernetes), at the same time saving already available corporate applications and former investments into IT technologies. Thanks to CoreOS technologies, container products and services of Red Hat purchase even more universal character and offer the customer the precise plan of creation and development of the digital enterprise, at the same time turning hybrid clouds on ideal Wednesdays for deployment of both modern, and traditional applications.
The Tectonic and Container Linux technologies received by Red Hat as a result of acquisition of CoreOS in January, 2018 will help customers to carry out automation at all levels of a cloud stack, using advantages of stability and the technical supports characteristic of the corporate products Red Hat. Besides, this automation will cover also the third-party solutions forming Red Hat ecosystem that considerably will simplify to suppliers of such solutions delivery and maintenance of software and services based on the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform platform in hybrid environments with the simplicity characteristic of public clouds.
