2016

In 2016 revenue of Digital Design company made 901 million rubles that is 1.8% higher than a similar indicator in 2015. In a ranking "TAdviser100: The largest IT companies in Russia" at the end of 2016 the Digital Design company took the 70th place.

2014

Turnover reached 955 million rubles, including revenue from project activity and rendering IT services – 785 million rubles. Average profitability of one project made 14%.

On growth rates in 2014 in leaders there was a power industry where the project scope in terms of money increased twice. The company for 20% increased project revenue in a public sector, continuing to remain the recognized leader among the IT companies in number of implementation projects of electronic document management systems in federal executive authorities.

2013

Revenue of the project and service Digital Design direction at the end of year made 760 million rubles, and the center of mobile solutions brought 70 million rubles, the company in February, 2014 reported. Data on turnover of all group did not bring TAdviser into Digital Design, having noted only that it it is not too essential, but grew. Growth in the DocsVision direction in a year was about 25%, and calculation of revenue on Raidix is not completed yet, added to Digital Design.

Average profitability of projects of the company in 2013 made 13%. Anatoly Surkis told TAdviser that approximately same it was also in 2012.

"Perhaps, profitability of projects was even slightly lower, than last year as in 2013 we had a number of low-profitable projects in areas, new to us, which we consciously undertook. For example, projects in the field of mobility where we continue to direct investments", - he explained to the edition.

2012

Turnover of the company for 2012 reached 1,048,803 thousand rubles (excluding VAT) that for 27% exceeds results of 2011 (825,829 thousand rubles). At the same time a considerable part of this amount was made by revenue for development and implementation of software – 32.4%. IT services in structure of turnover occupied a share in 67.6%, among them: implementation of information systems – 39%, infrastructure solutions – 25.1%, training – 3.5%.

2010: Growth of revenue by 41%, software for tablets

Consolidated revenues of the company were 781 million rubles (excluding VAT), having increased in comparison with 2009 by 41%, and in comparison with pre-crisis 2008 – for 23%. At the same time the share of services of development and deployment of business applications, analysis systems, consolidations and reportings made 46%, infrastructure solutions – 31%, services in audit, consulting, training and technical support – 20%, to licensing of the software – 3%.

At the end of 2010 Digital Design total revenue from implementation projects of electronic document management systems in the commercial organizations was 90,536 thousand rubles, having increased in comparison with 2009 by 27%. Similar indicators for public sector were 84,274 thousand rubles and 43%. In consolidated revenues of Digital Design of 2010 projects on implementation of EDMS made 22%.

In July, 2010 Digital Design opened the new direction – Development center of solutions for tablets. "The mobile workplace of the head" became result of work of the Center. This product integrates in itself two modules. The client of an electronic document management system provides viewing documents, pronouncement of resolutions (by means of the keyboard, pen or voice input), control of execution of orders. The module "The Electronic Folder for Meetings" allows the user to work with the agenda and the related documents. The solution can be implemented as on the iOs platform, and Android. "The mobile workplace of the head" is implemented in a number of the large organizations, including in the Government of Murmansk region, Russian Railways and others.

Also 2010 became for Digital Design "year of the financial sector". The company considerably developed the solutions for banks. Examination of staff of Digital Design allowed to create the specialized electronic document management systems, a corporate portal and the automated workplace of the head. Among clients of 2010 from the financial sector it should be noted BNP Paribas, VTB 24, UK Uralsib. "Crown" of bank customers of Digital Design Sberbank of Russia – implementation of EDMS in this organization, according to experts of IT integrator "crowns", promises to be the largest project in the field of electronic document management in the financial sector.

Digital Design in 2010 actively worked in the field of virtualization. Noticeable development was gained by such services as virtualization of servers and applications. In these areas projects for "VTB the Northwest", Freight One, Rusagrotrans and others are implemented. Besides, the new direction – virtualization of desktops was open.

In 2010 the company is among twenty largest Russian companies in the field of IT consulting according to the Finance magazine; the place in the rating of fifteen largest Russian software developers according to the Kommersant-Dengi magazine

• 2011 - rank of the best supplier of IT solutions of Russian Railways; product output "Head's tablet"; opening of "School of the system programmer".

Since 1992 experts of Digital Design implement more than 1,500 projects in the different industries of business: construction, trade, insurance, transport and also in the state organizations. Among clients of Digital Design there are such international companies as Heineken, Johnson&Johnson, Tetrapak, Ford, Volvo, Stora Enso, Lindab and also a number of the Russian companies. The company is a partner of the following vendors: Microsoft, HP, IBM, DocsVision, Citrix, etc.

Now in the company more than 350 specialists work. Representative offices of Digital Design are located in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Murmansk.

2018

Cooperation about Rusrisk

In the spring of 2018 the Digital Design IT company and "Russian Society of Risk Management" Non-profit partnership signed the agreement on cooperation. A main objective of this partnership – implementation of joint research and innovation projects. Development of IT products in automation of control and risks assessment and also in information security will be one of the directions of joint work.

As you know, in 2016 the Digital Design company put on the market the solution for automation of internal audit, control and risks assessment which received the name AVACOR. Internal audit experts took part in work on the solution. "One of system modules of AVACOR is Risk management, intended for process automation from evaluating risks before control of accomplishment of actions for their decrease. For further development of functionality of the module and a system in general it is important to consider modern trends, requirements of professional society therefore we see huge potential in cooperation about Rusrisk in this direction", – Ruslan Abdrakhmanov, the head of the business line of the AVACOR "Digital Design" tells.

Other parties of this cooperation – examination and development of standards and state standard specifications within technical committee 010 "Management of risk" of Rosstandart and also an opportunity to specialists of the IT company to undergo national and European certifications and to increase the competences in risk management.

2016

Products

The Unified register of the Russian programs included 5 products of development Digital Design:

• "Automation of internal audit, control and risks assessment" provides (AVACOR) the automated information support of all processes of internal audit and control. Solutions was also registered by Rospatent.
• The system of documentary management Priority is an end-to-end system of automation of documentary management for large commercial structures, holdings, the enterprises, the state corporations and OGV.
• "A mobile workplace of the Head" — the solution for the top management ensuring comfortable and safe functioning with key business applications of the organization using modern mobile devices.
• "The protected mobility" – the product line intended for safe connection and interaction of staff of the commercial organizations and public institutions with corporate information resources by means of the mobile devices iPad and iPhone.
• "Accounting of claim and claim activity" – the solution intended for optimization of work of legal services of the enterprises.

After inclusion in the Unified register all these products can be bought by government institutions according to requirements of Federal law No. 44-FZ.

2015

Projects

In 2015 over 180 projects, including in PJSC TransContainer, Russian Post, Administration of Leninsky municipal district of the Moscow region, JSC FTsPF, Federal Accreditation Service of the Russian Federation, Kastorama RUS LLC and others are complete.

Cooperation with RUSSIAN RAILWAYRusHydro JSC " (implementation of an automated system of SMS informing is complete, the implementation project of a system of the joint communications is begun), power holding (the strategic project directed to decrease in threats information security of the enterprise is complete), Government of Murmansk region (upgrade is complete EDMS Docsvision), Baltika brewery wood Europe Cetelem Bank" (Karlsberg integrated security of the region East is created), LLC was continued (EDMS Docsvision is implemented).

Products

The company brought to the market a new solution – the Priority system of documentary management (SDM) of own development based on the Russian Docsvision platform.

In addition, the company brought two more new solutions to the market: "Information system of collegiate organs" and "Information system of exchange of corporate information". Both new solutions are intended for large business and allow to make more convenient and effective process of exchange of significant information and documents. Solutions already have examples of successful implementations in the large Russian companies.

2014

Projects

In 2014 112 projects are complete. Now the quality of IT systems and professionalism of the engineers and the Digital Design programmers who developed them can estimate in Surgutneftegas, the Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs, "Cetelem Bank", the Federal center of project financing, etc.

Increasing number of new customers, Digital Design expands cooperation and with such traditional partners as JSC "Russian Railways" (one of sign projects of 2014 – the project on creation of a management system for locomotive economy based on thin clients and software of Citrix XenApp 6.5), JSC Sberbank of Russia (development of the project on implementation of "The automated workplace of the head" in territorial banks), JSC RusHydro (upgrade of Certification center, IT project management system implementation, etc.). Especially it is worth emphasizing that a number of the international companies, such as Onninen Oy, Nurminen Logistics, etc., continue long-term cooperation with Digital Design, actively expanding functionality of the business applications and trusting support of IT systems, critical for business.

Products

In 2014 the company brought two new subject solutions to the market: "Claim and claim work" and "Automated system of carrying out internal audit and control". Target market of both solutions is large business to which tools for cost reduction and increase in controllability in crisis are offered. Both solutions already have examples of successful implementations in the leading Russian companies.

Development of a product line "The protected mobility" became result of three years' investments into the direction of information security. It allowed to perform successfully in the left year implementing solution in such organizations as CC TVEL, JSC RusHydro, Macroregional branch "Ural" of Rostelecom company and others.

2013

Transformation into holding

By the end of 2013 Digital Design completed restructuring of business and became holding, having selected in separate company with the similar name the project and service direction and also having selected the product directions in separate companies DocsVision and Raidix. Need of such changes in the company is explained with the fact that it became difficult to support integration between diverse divisions within one company.

The Board of Directors of the Digital Design group was headed by Andrey Fedorov, having become its chairman.Anatoly Surkis was appointed the president of group, and the CEO of Digital Design company -Dmitry Livshits.

Projects

Total number of the projects implemented by Digital Design for all the time of the activity in 2013 exceeded 2.6 thousand, and the number of the projects executed for a public sector reached 500. Among the most noticeable projects for last year in the company bring large-scale implementation of the automated workplace of the head into territorial banks of Sberbank, business process optimization in "SG MOSCOW TIME" and "Bank Rossiya, automation of a management system of IT of ServiceDesk based on Omnitracker ITSM Center in BFA Bank and Krastsvetmet.

In the company refer to significant projects also migration of a system of e-mail with IBM Lotus Notes on the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 platform and system deployment of the joint communications based on Microsoft Lync Server 2010 for Baltika brewery.

Dmitry Livshits told TAdviser that in 2014 development of cooperation with Sberbank where EDMS of their company is implemented on 100 thousand jobs, due to continuation of replication of a system on jobs in bank is planned. Besides, there are ideas on development of the system in terms of its functionality, he says. The company also tells that conduct cooperation with RusHydro according to mobile solutions, implementing output function on tablets of heads of information from the business applications implemented in the company.

2012

Projects

The total quantity of the completed projects Digital Design for the end of last year reached 2500. Became the most noticeable in 2012: the next stage of the system implementation of electronic office document management, largest in the bank industry of Russia, in JSC Sberbank of Russia, the largest system implementation of management of the IT service (ITSM) in the world based on products of HP in JSC "Russian Railways", implementation of ITSM in O'KEY companies, the project of control automation by the range for drugstores of Rigl, creation of electronic web archive in Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos) and also modification of a corporate portal and development of IT strategy for 2012-2014 for "The federal freight company" (till November 13, 2012 – "The second freight company").

In 2012 the company began work with new large customers, among them – the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Federal Accreditation Service, etc. It allowed Digital Design to strengthen even more the positions in the market of solutions for public sector.

2011

At the beginning of 2011 the company announced the plans for the forthcoming 12 months. The management of Digital Design considers a strategic task for 2011 expansion of interaction with the universities and other research and scientific institutions for creation and development of the innovation products.

Andrey Fedorov: "The innovation is the cornerstone of our business. Therefore we pay much attention to cooperation with the universities. Research activity includes two continuous parts: directly work of scientists on development of any direction and work on education of future researchers. So the school of sciences forms. And we very much want to be involved in this process".

Cooperation of Digital Design with educational institutions goes on this moment in several directions. The staff of the company, including the CEO, give lectures in St. Petersburg State University and the Baltic technical university "Military Mechanical Institute". Digital Design selects grants to teachers for preparation of courses of lectures. The most interesting ideas which were born in the university environment can find implementation in real business – with possible selection in separate company in case of their prospects as it was, for example, with AvroRAID company (software developer for storage systems).

Also in 2011 Digital Design planned entry into the market of lease of the software (SPLA). For implementation of such service now the company obtains the license Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications Russia for telematic communication services. First of all, Digital Design is going to render "cloud" services for services of e-mail based on Microsoft Exchange. Further expansion of a range of software provided in lease at the expense of corporate portals on the platform Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and electronic document management systems on the platform is possible DocsVision.

Digital Design opens the new direction – Information security which part services and solutions of the company in the field of providing a comprehensive protection of data are. In the new direction the new and already existing in Digital Design services directed to prevention of information leak and from unauthorized access to it are joint. Solutions on single authorization provide centralized operation with credentials of users and access to information resources. Creation of virtual work places helps to reduce risk of date leak and penetration of viruses due to replacement of normal PCs by the diskless devices focused on work with information systems of the company. The Digital Design company pays much attention also to mobile devices. The management system for tablet computers, the CPC and smartphones allows to manage on a centralized basis settings of access to e-mail and corporate resources, and in case of loss or theft of the gadget will allow to delete quickly from it working data. Besides, the information security when using iPad tablets (solution "Head's Tablet") in corporate environment is ensured due to application of means of cryptographic information protection of CryptoPro CSP. It gives the chance to provide confidentiality of the data transferred on open communication links and also to use the EDS. For "bottleneck" in protection of which many do not even think – printing of documents on the printer – the special solution "Safe Printing" which provides printing of documents only in the presence of the employee is created.

Since October 1, 2011 Digital Design differentiates the direction on implementation of EDMS. In the company two divisions are formed. The first of them, department of automation of government institutions, will be engaged in the organization of electronic document management in the state organizations; the second, department of corporate systems, – automation of managerial business processes based on EDMS and portals in business companies.

Andrey Fedorov, the CEO, Digital Design, comments: "Similar specialization will give the chance of Digital Design to focus on specifics of solvable tasks for each of these directions. Undoubtedly, the state management system differs from the management models accepted in many commercial organizations. Creation of two separate divisions on automation of management processes will give the chance to support and strengthen Digital Design positions in these markets".

The department of automation of government institutions will be headed by Sergey Gaydamakov. It works in the company since 2000, having passed a way from the systems analyst to the department director. In 2008 received the status Project Management Professional. Sergey Gaydamakov owns extensive competences on project management of different scale, up to implementations in national corporations.

Oleg Greshnev before holding a position of the director of business development is appointed the director of the department of corporate systems. Oleg Greshnev came to Digital Design in 2005 to a position of the manager with corporate clients and in two years held a position of the associate director of department. In 2010 gained the diploma of MBA at Academy of National Economy at the Government of the Russian Federation. Oleg Greshnev has serious experience in the field of management and business development.
