History

2021: Embracer Group purchased Easybrain for $640 million

At the beginning of February, 2021 Embracer Group announced acquisition of Easybrain for $640 million. The buyer will pay all this amount with own actions. Also he, under the terms of the agreement, will pay additional up to $125 million. The final size of a bonus depends on accomplishment of particular purposes. So, for receiving the maximum award to the Belarusian startup it is necessary to achieve in six years an indicator of EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes, profit before interest contribution and taxes) in more than $600 million.

Under the terms of the agreement, Easybrain will become the eighth independent division of Embracer, along with THQ Nordic, Koch Media, Saber Interactive and others. Founders of the company, Pyotr Skoromny, Matvei Timoshenko and Oleg Grushevich, in the uniform person will become the third largest shareholder of holding. Easybrain will continue to specialize in the mobile direction.

Embracer Group purchased Easybrain for $640 million

By the beginning of 2021 of the game Easybrain downloaded more than 750 million times, in them play 12 million users a day. The portfolio of the developer includes such projects as Sudoku.com, Nonogram.com, Blockudoku, Pixel Art, etc. In 2020 in it Art Puzzle, Killer Sudoku, Nonogram.com Color appeared. In total by February, 2021 in an asset of Easybrain 15 projects appear.

Easybrain repeatedly showed capability to develop, to scale and control globally the puzzles and the logical games leading in category. Having combined efforts with Easybrain, we considerably will accelerate business development of Embracer in the field of mobile and free games — the CEO of Embracer Group Lars Vingfor said.[1]

2020: Easybrain entered in top-3 the most popular Belarusian developers - Sensor Tower

At the end of 2020 Easybrain entered in top-3 the most popular Belarusian developers, according to Sensor Tower. Games and applications of the company users downloaded 328 million times (+75% by 2019).
