History

2018: Construction of the plant in "Technopolice Moscow" for 660 million rubles

On August 17, 2018 it became known that Elta company, only (as of 2018) the domestic manufacturer of glucose meters, invests 660 million rubles in creation of industrial complex in the territory of the Technopolice Moscow special economic zone (SEZ) in Zelenograd. The project on construction of the plant already started. The CEO of the company Yury Glukhov reported about it, having specified at the same time that he expects to pay back invested funds of Elt within five years after completion of construction.

Being a resident of the SEZ, Elta will be able quicker to bring the innovative solutions to the market. In particular, in Zelenograd the glucose meter which is synchronized with mobile application and the telemedicine portal will be made. This development will allow people to manage with diabetes the disease at absolutely other level — Glukhov is convinced.

In addition to glucose meters, in Zelenograd the company is going to make klinikolaboratorny sets and devices for monitoring of level of glikirovanny hemoglobin, the individual test systems of onkomarker. At the same time, Elta she intends to arrange production of synthetic antiagregantny medicine for reduction of risk of emergence of sharp trombotichesky statuses which Russian analogs, according to the company while is not present and also other products.

As of August, in Russia in addition to Elt, glucose meters and test strips make two more companies — "Arkrey" which is based in the Dubna SEZ "daughter" of the Japanese Arkray and the joint project of Johnson & Johnson and Pharmstandard existing since 2015 in Ufa.^[1]
