History
2023: Liquidation of the Russian legal entity
July 14, 2023 it became known about the beginning of the process of liquidation of the legal entity Gameloft in Russia. The TASS agency drew attention to this with reference to the documentation posted on the portal of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) of the Russian Federation.
According to these materials, the publisher and developer of video games filed an application with the interdistrict Federal Tax Service of Russia No. 46 in Moscow in the form of a R15016, which corresponds to the application (or notification) on the liquidation of a legal entity. In the unified state register of legal entities (USRUL) and on the Fedresurs portal, these data have not yet been reflected by July 17, 2023.
Gameloft is known for a large number of published games on mobile platforms. In particular, the Asphalt series of racing games is popular.[1]
2022: Announcement of suspension of activities in Russia
Gameloft, which is a subsidiary of the French media conglomerate Vivendi, suspended its business in Russia and Belarus in early April 2022, promising to withdraw all games from stores. However, the original press release, then published on the publisher's website, was subsequently deleted.
2019: Gameloft advertising inventory will be available in Russia directly through the MediaSniper platform
On April 18, 2019, MediaSniper announced the conclusion of an agreement with the developer and publisher of mobile games Gameloft for the right to directly sell advertising traffic as part of an RTB auction in Russia.
Cooperation with MediaSniper will simplify the procedure for automated traffic procurement for Russian advertisers. Now all traffic will pass directly to the platform, without the participation of third-party players. Direct integration will avoid the technical difficulties and loss of coverage that can arise when working through intermediaries.
The partnership with Gameloft for us is a sign of trust from the global player and the ability to directly access premium inventory with high visibility and a safe environment for brands. We have long provided customers with access to the purchase of mobile inventory and will continue to develop this direction, given that users are becoming more and more active. I am sure that Gameloft traffic and data will be of interest to a wide pool of advertisers and will help achieve their goals. |
Gameloft Team:
We are confident that Gameloft's high-quality traffic and audience can help MediaSniper customers achieve the most positive results in advertising.
